Tivoli Audio Bluetooth Adapter

This new radio updates the excellent old Tivoli radio by adding bluetooth - which allows us to play internet radio and songs from our iphones and ipads. The only downside is due to wireless reception, not Tivoli - if the signal isn't strong, the music can be interrupted. But that happens rarely. We highly recommend the radio.

Purchased based on Tivoli's reputation for it's sound as well and the desire of a radio. Bluetooth is a plus. Upon turning on the Tivoli, we were immediately blown away by it's crystal clear sound and aesthetic. If anything we were not expecting to use it nearly as much as we do now. It's worth every cent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little Bluetooth adapter to connect to my audio system. Although my receiver has built-in Bluetooth, it is very finicky to connect to. This unit solved the problem. I like that it has an optical cable connector to make the connection to my receiver.

The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter works right out of the box. It comes with a power supply , a mini-stereo to RCA cord. In my case I connected to the Aux-Input on an old Sony receiver. I paired it to my iPhone 4s and my macbook pro with no trouble. My daughter's macbook pro paired up right away but she tried to stream her iTunes and it would not go. However, her Spotify went fine. The range seemed acceptable. There were some artifacts (like digital hiccups) but I am not sure it was the device or the laptop.

This is the second Tivoli that I have purchased. �I am not� disappointed.

The TIVOLI AUDIO Model One is the greatest thing since sliced bread! It has a wonderfully full sound on FM broadcasts like NPR. The tuner is excellent. It reminds me of the 1968 KLH Model Twenty stereo system's tuner. This little tabletop AM/FM radio is simply fabulous. The real walnut case is handsome to look at. Order your TIVOLI AUDIO Model One today...you will not be disappointed.

I purchased a Tivoli Audio Model Three BT Clock Radio hoping for a great sounding radio, which it was. However there are issues with the Interface and design and it was not usable as an alarm clock for me. So I crossed my fingers and purchased the Sangean. Honestly, both radios are ported and hefty so the sound on both are very good, but the usability and features on the Sangean are excellent and I would prefer the Sangean over the Tivoli even if the Tivoli worked as expected.

I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear.

I have always had great luck with and have been very satisfied with Logitech products. This Bluetooth Audio Adapter was very easy to set up and allowed me to choose multiple audio connections - depending on the device you want to connect to (RCA or 3.5mm connections). I would recommend this device to anyone wanting to upgrade an older audio system or speakers to Bluetooth connectivity.

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.
