Toast Dark Grey Projector Screen

For years, our old projector used the back wall of the church as a screen. The black parts of videos were washed out, even with the lights off. We got an Ambient Light Rejecting screen, which made the dark parts much deeper, but, unfortunately, it also darkened skin tones and colors. This new Epson Powerlite has enough punch (4000 ANSI lumens) that the ALR screen feels like a TV set. Skin tones and colors are accurate, and the dark portions are really dark, like they're supposed to be. The mounting of the projector was fixed, and initially I was disappointed that the throw distance was different from the old projector. At the tightest zoom, the image was larger than the screen by about 8 inches on a side. It was then that I discovered that the digital zoom had negative numbers and I was able to shrink the image to the size of the screen, There is a slight 8 glow on the wall around the screen which is hardly noticeable. I can see it because I know it's there, but no one else has mentioned it yet. The remote control is powerful enough to bounce its signal of the wall to activate the ceiling mounted projector. The old projector required exact aiming from in front of it to turn it on or off, The remote control also has specific buttons for each source which makes changing from VGA to HDMI really simple. Overall, I don't think I could be happier about this purchase. It has given our church a much better video experience.

Excited to have these for macro photography, but buyers should know at least mine arrived dark grey rather than black.

I needed a new case and had the tripod already but this everyday case just secures more firmly to it and can be used with other mounts. The black and dark grey colour is classic and the fabric covering of the back makes it easier to hold.

I ordered a light grey background on amazon that was very dark in person. When I found this background, I was skeptical because the pictures were comparable to the one I ordered previously from amazon. Heard B&H was a reputable company so I went for it...this background looks like it's picture, love it!

This background was a life saver. It worked very well with the three fluorescent lights that I have. In the pictures this background can be anything from white to dark grey, depending on what lighting you have on it. It was a great bargain at $. In the last few photo-shoots I have made with this background it looks like about 3 different colors. A must for anyone wanting to take portraits.

This is a great color background for some fashion shoots. It is a nice dark grey at which I wanted and if you want the same I suggest this background. It has a great thickness to it. The only thing I noticed is that there seems to be some dimples at times that the light catches which is not so good and doesn't show that seamless look.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this projector on an old 120” Severtson grey screen (0.95 gain, I believe) in a very well light-controlled room. This projector really shines (pun intended), particularly with bright/colorful content. Watching Mulan in 4K was stunning. It really was like having a 120” LCD monitor on the wall! There are many options to tweak the settings to your preferences. I have few gripes with this projector. The shadow detail is slightly lacking in dark scenes.I am using max lens shift for my placement and it seems to cause some focus uniformity issues in the corners which is fairly mild. By the way, the manual controls, particularly the focus lever could use a redesign as they are clunky and difficult to make precise adjustments with. Still with such a stunning image I can easily forgive a few minor shortcomings. Tremendous overall value!

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.
