I recently purchased a Sony FDR AX700 4K camcorder. I know that this bag is made for drones, but you can also use this bag for a variety of cameras and small camcorders. The quality is what you'd expect from Manfrotto and there are a few pockets to store things like a extra battery and a charger and such. Great purchase and as always great service from B and H photo.

My dad has a FDR AX100 Sony 4K camera and the shoe on top is not standard and I wanted to attach this to a tripod or run and gun with it. Work perfectly. No complaints at all with the product, did exactly what I wanted. Now is Sony could have been smarter make a shoe that was universal that is a different issue.

I've been waiting for this camera for a long time!! And BMD delivers. It's a dslr sized 4k cinema camera with BMD color science (which is darn close to an Arri Alexa). The button layout is awesome and being able to program the top buttons is a nice feature. Battery life is ok for powering a 5" screen and recording raw 4k. (Around 45 min of normal use). Easily grades and matches with my URSA Mini Pro 4.6k. The low light 3200 iso is also pretty awesome. I love this little camera. But it's not perfect, But almost. What I wish: -Better dynamic range. But I can live with it. -I wish the screen tilted just a bit. Some times when getting Low with the camera can be annoying. I can't just lean over I have to lay down or put an external monitor on. -really wish they put mini sdi port in. Like their 5" monitor or 4k micro camera. My other camera is an URSA Mini Pro 4.6k. All my stuff is sdi..... -You'll want a top handle for this guy. Other than that this camera should kill all the DSLRs out there. Oh yeah and on top you get a full resolve license. Thanks BMD!!!

This camera cage for the BMPCC 4k is fantastic! I've added everything from an Atomos Ninja V monitor to the top handle feeling secure that the handles release pin will keep it secure. I then purchased an additional Tilta Handle that houses a battery and a right hand handle that hits the rig as well. On top I have secured my ssd with ease and look forward to adding a Hollyland in the near future. Which currently the cage can handle as well.

I have been looking into the camera market for some time now and have done countless hours of research. It honestly comes down to what your needs our rather than strictly the best camera. For the price range of around $1000, there are several top contenders. I bought the GH4 for it's 4k ability while remaining an affordable product. If you are going to save money with the 4/3 sensor, than this product, the metabones speed booster is a must. It's the closest way you can imitate full frame 4k at a fraction of the cost. There are two different speed boosters however, the ultra and the XL. While the XL will give you a wider FOV (field of view) it really was only designed for 4k video and the extra crop, 2.3x, that comes with the GH4. The GH4 has so many more functions than just its affordable 4k that buying the XL only inhibits it. The 96fps is a great feature. Using the XL vignettes the lens, and that's something you never want. Especially because there's a lot of nice glass that uses an APS-C mount not a full frame. A great example is the Sigma Art 18-35. This is one of the best lens's that the GH4-Ultra Metabones can have. So, if you want to use the 4K, 96fps, 1080 60fps at 200mbs, and take photos, the 16mp camera can still take some stunning shots, buy the .71x Ultra adapter. It's the best third party camera mod you can do to create a cheaper micro 4/3 sensor a full frame 4K beast for a fraction of the cost. I did it and it worked amazing for me. And let's be honest, B and H is the top market vendor to buy from. They are going to hook you up with great customer service, fast shipping, and a clean, ready to go, product. This camera can do it all. My shooting style varies by day. So far I’ve tested sharp ISO 80 landscapes printed at 13x19” on my Canon Pixma Pro 10, eye detection AF portraits with new color science for accurate skin tones, the ability to shoot ISO 32000 sensor stabilized handheld night images, 120fps 4K 10bit action shots of my dog, & 24fps 4K 10 bit 422 footage in SLOG3 for cinematic vignettes. My expectations have been met & surpassed! The big grip & highest resolution EVF on the market has made my switch to mirrorless almost seamless. Everything about this camera is top of the line. My 1 caveat is that Sony still does not protect their sensors when swapping lenses. I’ve purchased a filtered air blower & extra filters for this problem in the field. Having a protective shutter or clear filter in front of the sensor would be better for the environment, the camera, & the photographer. Please make this change sometime very soon Sony. The memory cards are expensive but the transfer speeds are brilliant. If you are in the market for the best hybrid camera ever made, then you have come to the right camera.
