Really fantastic big string sound in the VSL instrument family.

Dust cover, stretchy material, pull string to tighten around instrument base. Plenty of slack to fit just about any keyboard 49-61 keys.

I’m not a musician, I can’t read music, and I don’t know music theory. But I can play this and it makes me smile! I’ve had this instrument (yes, it is an actual instrument - not a toy) for close to a month now and I’ve played it almost every day. It’s allowing me to learn to make music while also having fun with music. The strumplate is magical. It feels so nice and accurate. It is sensitive enough to pick up the lightest touch (although, it is not force sensitive in how it plays a chord). The “keyboard” if you will is something you either get used to or may not enjoy. I’ve learned to accept it, as its keys are firm, yet mushy-ish rubber buttons. The body is made of a high quality and strong plastic. It isn’t flimsy feeling in my observations and feels sturdy when you play into it. Once you learn its characteristics, you can be one with the Omnichord and just have a blast! This instrument has many uses too, as it can be used as a MIDI controller! I’ve connected it to my MacBook Pro and have played so many different sounds/electronic instruments through Logic Pro. I’m still learning the ins and outs, but I’m seeing limitless options with how you can play this thing! The onboard sounds are crisp, clear, and this little speaker can play big! Also, knowing it’s part analog, part electronic is neat. You can tell there was a lot of thinking that went into this. Overall, I’d buy this again if I ever needed to (who knows how many Suzuki will make though!) simply because it’s has captured my attention for this long and brings a smile to may face every time I play it. You’ll be the hit of the crowd when you show this off, too! It’s unique, it stands out, and it’s simply a joyful part of my day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved receiving this product. I never “played” and instrument but so excited to finally learn. I had a keyboard as a kid and self learned some simple songs. This was super easy to set up and has so many different sound qualities I can’t wait to dig I more and learn more piano ?

Upon opening the product, the first thing I noticed was that the carrying case did not contain a draw string to close the top of the carry case. There is a sewn top for one so if I needed one badly I guess I could add one in. This is product will go straight into the grip bag that I use for the lighting equipment so it is not a deal breaker for me. After watching the video again I noticed that his did not have a draw string either. So what am I complaining about anyway? You got me. Seriously, that was all I could find wrong. And for a product at this price point, goes without saying. Greta buy. It does exactly what I need it to do.

This is part of the Belt system and as such you might not get one without getting the belt too. The top closes with a draw string but not 100%. The idea is you use it as a holster for a lens. There is a flap on top to keep out stuff that might fall in. The zipper bottom has the rain coat for great protection. You can lock it to a position on the belt or allow it to slide around and forward for carrying farther behind and pulling it forward for changing out the lens you have for the one you need. They come in sizes and you can attach several if you want to. With extra weight I suggest adding the harness to the belt system especially for long lenses.

Was going to build something similar with some steel boxes and 10-3 drop cord to string behind my band to plug in amplifiers. This is so much better! It's flexible, light weight and has features I couldn't make myself. Love the outlet covers and indicator lights on each outlet! Every Sound Man should own a couple!

I have been looking for quite some time for a good Vest and Arm to go with my Glidecam HD-2000 and discovered the X-10. I enjoy the quality of this product. Very professional. Its perfect for what I do. It always gives me those smooth shots. It takes some time to get used to the mechanics of it all. However, if you are driven to learn and you actually care, its not hard at all. Glidecam should include a brief introduction Dvd on the ins and outs of using the X-10. Its pretty easy to learn, but hey... it helps if you are given somewhat of a heading before you make any novice mistakes. No one wants to be a noob. And that is fact. So before you go doing that check out some online vids about the X-10. If no one has any up yet... I'm sure someone will soon. Other than that, its an amazing product and you won't be disappointed!
