Top 10 Professional Video Cameras Comparison

I've had 10 different digital cameras. I've done professional video and stills throughout my working life. My G9II (and Gh6) is the best camera I've ever used. The AF on the G9II for BIF and sports is extremely good. The video is a professional grade documentary or B roll cinema camera. Pair it with Panasonic PL grade lenses and it becomes a tool with which you can do your best work. The handheld hires is amazing.

I am a professional Photography and this was my upgrade from a canon xsi. Overall there is no comparison, the 60D takes much better pictures and the video quality is outstanding. The only thing I wish DSLR's could do would be shoot video for longer than 10 minute increments.

I am a professional photographer for over 10 years now. Olympus entry level SLR's are the BEST out of all the big boys- plus the image stabilization is in the BODY- saving money on expensive VR lenses from the others. OLympus is the best bang for the buck- and the company is on the cutting edge of newer features and cameras like their EP-1 and EP-2 cameras. Don't go for the gimmicks of the other camera companies. All the big name cameras are great- but Olympus gives you more for your money. PLUS the ART FILTERS are nice too! GREAT IMAGE QUALITY AND CAMERA OPERATION!

As a professional who's worked with many cameras, both heavy and awkward, from film to digital, I'm here to tell you that this lens is truly outstanding in terms of performance, versatility and build quality. As of January 2024, this lens seems undervalued and underrated compared to Nikon's other exotic primes, both mirrorless and DSLR, if we're looking at the price of these used (half price for 9+ used B&H rating). Great images come with the use of a good tripod, proper technique and good light. Lots of people want to complain about weight, well this type of equipment comes with a price, and not just monetarily. You want fast glass, i.e. you want lots of light dumping through the front element? OK, these lenses are large and that means more heft, especially when you factor in the zoom. But don't forget with said zoom, you'll receive the glorious ability to make game changing compositional decisions. This is truly a one and done lens! 10/10 for me.

I am a professional videographer...this head is great for larger video cameras. the double handles are very helpful. very sturdily built. I now own three of these heads

I have had no less than 10 professional tripods in my career. I only wish this was available when I started out and I would have saved money in the long run. The build quality and materials are better than any other tripod I have tried or owned. The 125lb load capacity means that it not only is my primary photo tripod, it also works as the base for my camera job with the counter weights as well as my regular video rig. The 75mm bowl adapter is precision CNC and it fits like a glove. The 1/4-20 female taps save the frustration of using super clamps or other gizmos to have a monitor or tablet close. I've only used it a couple of times in the field so far but I already have 2 video tripods and one photo tripod for sale on eBay. I called the company to ask about a center column. the owner answered and was terrific. Made in USA is a plus too. It's an investment but it sure looks like it's the only investment you'll need to make if you plan on shooting for years to come.

I work in a professional capacity video/audio and these screens wear very well and in 10 years I have only replaced them when someone walks away with one or one is misplaced.

I do professional videography but I started out years ago shooting on a Pentax K1000 film camera. I bought the a6000 primarily for shooting video with a large sensor camera. This camera is fantastic. At around $500 there is nothing that comes close in features and it has a aps C sensor which is found in 90% of all dslr and mirrorless cameras. I’ve seen canon 1” sensor point ant shoot cameras for hundreds more. I shoot low light wedding videos on this camera and the video looks fantastic. It also shoots video in Sony’s xavc 50 mbps format which is found on Sony cameras and pro camcorders costing thousands more. This small camera is a beast!
