Top 10 Vlogging Cameras Under 500

So my first impression out the box was a little underwhelming due to the build quality. It felt very plastic and light weight compared to my manfrotto mini tripod but after actually using it for vlogging for the next few days I quickly changed my mind. The things that I faulted it for were small but beneficial when using it for vlogging. These table top tripods are best when used with point and shoot cameras, small action cameras or accessories. For heavier set ups I would go with the better built manfrotto. One thing that stuck out to me when actually using it vs unboxing it was the notch that is cut out to allow the ball head to go back a lot further than my manfrotto. This allows you to get a few more inches of distance when vlogging. If you are like me and don't like when the camera is too close to your face then this helps. It is a small difference but a noticeable one for me. You don't notice the lack in build when actually using it the way I did. The lighter weight made me feel like I was only holding my camera. On top of that its around ten dollars cheaper than my manfrotto option. Unless your entire goal is build quality or heavier set ups, id save some money and get this one if your use will be similar to mine. So for the price and actual usability I give it 5 stars. Under 10 bucks, no screws, works within seconds, and even a USB wire included!

Under Windows 10, it just works. Plug it in and go. The resolution isn't great, nor is the video or sound, but they are both perfectly acceptable. I absolutely think it's worth the price. I've bought four of these, and each one has worked as I've described. If you buy this knowing you're buying a cheap webcam that'll do just fine for teleconferencing, you'll be happy. If you're looking for anything else, skip this one.

I'll probably use this mostly as a small light stand and table top tripod, but it would work well for a vlogging setup too.

This is a great little light and works well. I got this as a gift and use it on my GoPro 10 with the media mod for vlogging in low light conditions. It’s much bright than the GoPro version and I love that it’s so compact! The battery lasts a very long time.

I use this for my iPhone Xs, as well as a few small mirrorless cameras. It's great for vlogging, for webcams, and is also great as a stabilizer for your iPhone as you gives you a great handle. And since it's Manfrotto, you know it's made to last. Very reasonably-priced too!
