I've been a professional photojournalist for 40 years, used all the top-of -the-line models from both Nikon (limited to film) and Canon (up to the 1D Mark IV). With few exceptions, such as needing a very long, 300mm or more, at f/2.8, lens, this camera can shoot ANY assignment a photojournalist is handed and do it with an image quality equaling or surpassing a top of the line full size DSLR. It has a learning curve you must master, but so does every high-end digital camera. After 40 years shooting, having a camera of such immense capability, stunning image quality and in size and weight equivalent to large bar of soap, can't be beat. If you're a veteran shooter, remember the size and quality of the Leica rangefinders. This camera is on par with the Leica and easily meets the requirements, and in many instance, surpasses the uses of a D5 or 1Dx. This is a 2 piece shield that will cover the screen and the digital display on the top right of the Lukix G9 Camera body. Very easy to install and perfect fit. This screen does not interfere in anyway with the touch screen function. I highly recommend this product.
