Although other manufacturers are trying to accomplish the same thing as peak design, your products quality materials craftsmanship and design I really would sell the part. I am using this to hold my GoPro on top, a mic, a light and the cell phone in the middle. The GoPro talks to the cell phone allowing me to see a larger image and have manual control over most of the features of the camera. It is light, sturdy and useful. I had to drill a couple of holes in the shoe mounts to accommodate some lock down screws. Have used it many times and even got a compliment from another videographer.

It was really easy to set up and its working great. it has the ability to connect your desk top phone and cell phone and its really convenient.

This Cell Phone Mount was bought for my Wife. She watches videos on her cell phone often and I thought this was a better idea than leaning her phone against a bottle of ketchup or loaf of bread. Combining this with a tiny foldable tripod gives her a compact stand for her cell phone and she now uses it almost daily. She seems to like it and it folds up to take very little space. The mount had a slight hangup when I first tried it out but seems to work fine now. The threads in the plastic parts are actually brass inserts that are moulded in place so they will probably hold up a lot longer than plain plastic would. The plastic is well moulded and seems to be pretty good quality. In theory, the mount will stand up without a tripod, but it isn't stable.

Wonderful case to carry point and shoot or cell phone on the boat or to the beach.

I like the feature that it is also connected to my cell phone.
