Top Cheap Vlogging Cameras With Flip Screen

This canon RP is such a capable camera. The pictures come out stunning and the flip out screen makes it a perfect vlogging camera as well. Its small size does not affect performance whatsoever. Highly recommend.

So my first impression out the box was a little underwhelming due to the build quality. It felt very plastic and light weight compared to my manfrotto mini tripod but after actually using it for vlogging for the next few days I quickly changed my mind. The things that I faulted it for were small but beneficial when using it for vlogging. These table top tripods are best when used with point and shoot cameras, small action cameras or accessories. For heavier set ups I would go with the better built manfrotto. One thing that stuck out to me when actually using it vs unboxing it was the notch that is cut out to allow the ball head to go back a lot further than my manfrotto. This allows you to get a few more inches of distance when vlogging. If you are like me and don't like when the camera is too close to your face then this helps. It is a small difference but a noticeable one for me. You don't notice the lack in build when actually using it the way I did. The lighter weight made me feel like I was only holding my camera. On top of that its around ten dollars cheaper than my manfrotto option. Unless your entire goal is build quality or heavier set ups, id save some money and get this one if your use will be similar to mine. So for the price and actual usability I give it 5 stars. Didn't realize my camera didn't have a flip out screen, got this because it was cheap. Surprisingly good reflection and the range of mirror position was plenty for my camera. I almost prefer it to a dedicated flip out screen. It only works on LCD screens that flip up like a waist level finder.

It is smaller. With the flip out screen and without the large EVF on top, this camera fits differently into your hands. I know that I can trust the AF and exposure, so it is easy to hold at an arms length and shoot with just the monitor. The AF is awesome and hugely improved over the a7RIII. Of course, there are some other differences that some might not be able to do without, but for me this works perfectly. I also love that the screen turns around to protect it when not in use, and the shutter sound is superb!

The L Bracket does not do justice to the cameras with flip screens there is where the Atoll is ideal since it does not restrict the use of the screen and its positioning.

I love this camera and I love that I can take selfies with the flip screen!

I have these for all my cameras. The glass is so much better than the cheap plastic screen protectors. Worth it for protecting your investment.

Not cheap, but way ahead of a lot of other cameras.

I can't believe how cheap this is. It really is a bargain for the quality of screen you are getting.

I'll probably use this mostly as a small light stand and table top tripod, but it would work well for a vlogging setup too.
