Top Earbuds With Mic

Great for extending out a top mic !

I've tried the flagship earbuds from many of the top competing brands. The sound that these put out blows everything else away. The sound is incredibly detailed, and the soundstage is wide and expansive - the widest I've encountered in buds. The volume is lower than some of the competition - but I've never needed the volume higher than 50%, so it's really a non issue. Noise cancelling is very very good, if a hair below the leaders. Wind noise reduction on these buds is the best I've encountered. If you're after the absolute best sounding earbuds to bring out details in your music that you've never heard before, look no further! On top of that, these are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever owned - wireless or not. They stay securely in my ears and I can wear them all day long without discomfort!

I have to say this is an amazing pair of earbuds. The sound is great as are the look and function. The top of the line quality craftsmanship is evident from the first look. The only drawback is my ears are a little funky so one of the buds falls out easily. Not sure how to correct this as it also happened with a different brand and style buds.

After not being happy with either using phone/earbuds, internal microphone, or external headphone/mic combo direct wired to computer, I ordered this to improve my WFH situation. It set up easily with no issues, connecting my headset to the back of the mic, and the mic to a USB splitter connected to my PC. Feedback from colleagues is that I sound really good (DJish was one description.. It picks up my voice whether I'm close or a couple feet away and does not appear to pick up a lot of other background. I can't speak to other uses for this mic, but for what I needed it fit the bill perfectly. Also calling out that--as is usually the case--B&H delivered it when it said it would.

Picture should say it all. Works great with your favorite earbuds or cans. Plug on mic wireless units are now 30 buck and up on Amazon. I figure this approach saved me at least 400 bucks

I use this all the time as an aerial combat videographer. Some people throw their mic in the headset and simply hope they get the audio they desire using their earbuds. That's the same thing as using your camera mic to do an interview. You just shouldn't do it. Get the cleanest feed you can from the source (aircraft intercom). Even when you are limited on coms cords in the aircraft you can simply have the aircrew member put his/her headset into this and you can monitor the audio in your earbuds.I've been using the same cable since 2009 from here and still no issues. A few hints: I put my audio levels in auto because of the varying levels coming back in. Also, when you're doing a single person interview, make sure the rest of the coms are muted (ask aircrew to do this) so you don't have radio chatter in the background.

I'm using this product as a PC microphone. I've attached it to the top of my 27 Widescreen LCD Monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 (albeit with substantial difficulty). The mic itself works perfectly with my PC after being paired with an ART Tube MP Preamplifier. This mic is surprisingly quite heavy. Probably because it is a dynamic microphone and not a condenser mic. I'm not a big fan of the stand clamp it ships with as it takes a significant effort to attach/detach the mic to it. It doesn't seem to be truly unidirectional to me. When Skyping with someone they can still hear me quite well even when I move laterally away from the mic while it is attached to the top of my monitor. This was actually a pleasant surprise for me, but other potential buyers may not like this characteristic. It should be noted that I can't definitively compare this mic to others of the same type, because it is the first XLR mic I've ever purchased. Attaching this mic to my LCD monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 was not easy, but barely doable by wedging an extra metal square bracket into the M-1. Someone REALLY needs to manufacture a microphone mount which utilizes the VESA mounting mechanism now commonly found on the backs of LCD monitors! Overall, given the high quality of the mic and the amazing price, I'd say this is definitely the microphone you want to use with your PC. You will need a pre-amp and mounting mechanism to make it work for this purpose though.

Just as good as Neumann mic. The app is just the cherry on top.
