Lots of laptops only come with Thunderbolt/USB C type connectors nowadays, and usually one of them is used to connect the charger to the computer. So if you have the charger connected you lose a port. This device makes it possible to connect the charger and get Ethernet at the same time, and it does that well. I just plugged it in and it worked! Costs much less than some other similar adapters, but as far as I can tell the build quality is still top of the line. 5 |

With more and more laptops only having Type C connectors, and a lot of legacy devices (readers, tablets, card readers, DVD drives, etc.) needing micro-USB connections, this is invaluable. Now I don't need to keep a bunch of USB A-C or C-B adapters around. If only there were a USB-C to Mini-USB cable; my GPSes still use the mini USB connector. 5 |

If you're looking for a small surge suppressor with USB connectors then this is the one for you, no it's not that big and it doesn't have that many slots for the AC standard plug connectors, only three of those, and there's only three USB plugs, but it has a slot for your mob phone and I have a 4 inch or 5 inch USB cable that fits perfectly to my mobile while it's sitting in the swan and like I said if you don't have room on your desk but you need a USB power supply to charge your devices this little search of pressure is what you're looking for it's perfect in fact it's so good I bought another small one same size but it has eight USB plugs and a wireless charger on top and where you just lay your USB mobile on top but that's another story go out and purchase the one I purchased here you won't be disappointed! 5 |

This is a high quality case but the USB ports on the top panel require 2 different header connectors on the motherboard. My Asus MB only support one so 2 of the connectors are inactive. If you expect to use all ports check your MB first. The paint is high quality and all the edges are smooth 5 |
