Old desk top was struggling with running Win-10 32bt. Only had 4gb ram, when opening a few picture/ video apps it was wheezing and stumbling all over the place. I checked Dell support to see if two 2gb would work with two 8gb in my 7010 Opti, both they and Crucial said it would, and boy does it! Note that the max ram for 32bit Windows is only 4gb, if you upgrade ram over 4 gb you have to switch to the 64bit Windows version for the system to recognize/use the added ram. You Tube has tons of info on how. Was a Very Good investment!

I found the Visual Echoes Panning Plate to be well made with a dampened and very smooth panning movement. The panning plate and clamp attaches to a lens foot. Light enough that I hardly notice it is there with my 600mm lens. Works very nicely when placed on top of a bean bag for shooting out the window of a vehicle. If you are riding in the rear seat of a vehicle and have access to the windows on both sides, you can mount a bean bag on both windows and quickly move from the right side to the left side and be ready to shoot in a few moments. This is much faster than use of a pano head attached to the top of a bean bag and having to attach the lens foot to the clamp each time you move from one side of the vehicle to the other.

The installed card reader in my desk top PC quit working, Windows reported a hardware failure and attempts to repair or load a new driver would not work. I discovered this USB driven card reader and ordered it. The shipping and handling was lightning quick and costs were less than UPS or FedEx. I was easily able to load new software onto my 2 GB SD card which I use in a Garmin Marine GPS Chart Plotter. Problem solved!

CM700 modem works well and familiar GUI similar to Netgear routers via browser.

Keys are very comfortable, the rotary knobs map to NI instruments without any special setup. The browser window on the keyboard also makes it simple to scan through sounds

My previous laptop was HP Spectre x360, but this time I chose HP Envy, I don't need touch screen, higher resolution with clear screen is more important. And also, I chose 32GB on board memory. That was very good for the smooth performance. Keyboard is soft and good, but the speaker is not Bang & Olufsen speakers that HP Spectre had it. But laptop speaker is small, I don't see any distinctive difference between old and current model. Overall performance is very satisfactory. I used to run 20 Chrome browser taps and about same number of Bing browser, and I don't see any performance degradation. Same on MS office.
