Top Thin And Light Laptops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always travel and this is a great companion. I had other 2 laptops that are thin and light-weight but they keep on freezing, turns off suddenly and having issues. This by far is not failing me. 5 |

It is perfect for modern 14inch laptops (e.g. Lenovo X1 carbon). Top quality, very light, I take it with me everywhere. I certainly recommend it. 5 |

I have been looking (tediously) for a table-top tripod sturdy enough for iris photography that has a quick and easy center-column height adjustment, but with a small enough profile to fit on a thin table. After researching about 12 different tripods, this is the one I landed on. Never heard of the brand before so I was reluctant at first, especially because it was so cheap. I'm glad I took a chance on it. My initial impression was pleasant surprise due to the overall quality and intuitive leg design (a light twist of the leg produces a tactile click for each leg section. The legs can be extended and re-locked in less than a second. It's very sturdy dropped down to the second leg position and I'm confident this will hold my A7RV, 90mm macro, macro rail and ring light in place with minimal wobble. I have just 1 gripe and one concern (respectively): the knob that secures the pan bar can be an encumbrance depending on what you're attaching, and the leg sections are thin plastic that might fail the test of time after many extensions and collapsings (remains to be seen). 5 |

I'm committed to the Envy laptops and this is my second one. I had the first one for about 8 years and it served me pretty well. I like the 17.3" laptop that's still thin and sleek. I like the big screen and the number pad. I modified the laptop to get a huge SSD and lots of RAM so that it will be speedy for years to come. I have been using mine for about a month now. The only things I've been sad about: (1) I didn't realize I opted for no touchscreen and that's taken getting used to, (2) the speakers could be a bit better on this edition, and (3) the camera quality could be better, too. 5 |

Easy to set up and provides a great place to store laptops underneath and printer on top. Has helped organize my desk. 5 |

I bought this backpack because I typically have to travel with two laptops - one for work, and my own personal. Even though this wasn't how the laptop sleeve was designed, I'm actually able to fit two 15" macbook pros and still zip the top pocket with no issues. I also love the modular nature of all the adjustable interior panels. Each trip I'm almost always carrying my laptops and my Sony A73 + extra lens, and I'll also have my noise cancelling headphones with a few items that vary trip by trip. But I've always been able to adjust the compartments to fit what I needed which Peak Design made super easy with how the top flap can adjust to fit more or less depending on the load. Its also been super ergnomic to carry even when I'm fully loaded - the straps are really comfortable, with the chest strap adding extra security for the time's i've had to sprint through an airport to make a tight layover. I almost always take advantage of the back slot that you can slide over a rolling suit case handle and the magnetic straps to just set the bag on top my luggage. This is super helpful saving my back when I've got the bag fully loaded and am on a long trip. I also love how unbranded the bag is, which makes it feel like less of a target for theft. Other stand out features are the magnetic flap closure, the internal pockets to store various components for my camera or laptop, and the waterproof exterior. This backpack is a swiss army knife built with so much thought and detail. Highly recommend for anyone on the go who carries a bunch of gear with them and want something durable and versatile. 5 |

I have had Asus routers and laptops for about 20 years. Their products are top notch. In fact, I still use my G72S laptop I purchased in 2011. The ET12 router was a breeze to set up and update. The app makes it simple to administer. 5 |

I believe Acer is one of the best values in laptops. But with value comes some compromises. For this purchase, I was just looking at raw specifications and wanted top-of-the-line or near-top for a 16 gaming laptop. (I was fine with a 13th gen Intel CPU b/c there really isn't any meaningful improvement to the 14th gen, so buying a laptop that has been out for a year is an even better way to save money). This laptop has fantastic performance - I use it to game and for video/audio editing via Premiere. I can run any game I care to play at max settings. The screen is surprisingly vibrant, even though it's not the mini-led. Be aware that battery life for this laptop (and most upper-end gaming laptops in general) is pretty atrocious (2, MAYBE 3 hours under light usage). If you plan to do anything processor/GPU intensive on battery alone..., it's not going to happen. This laptop is happiest being plugged in and acting as a desktop replacement more than a true laptop that you're going to carry around all the time. I love it because I can take it with me when I travel and have an awesome machine with a small(er) footprint. This laptop isn't the most quiet (the fans can get pretty raucous), it isn't the best-looking, and doesn't have the best thermals, but it is, in my opinion, a great buy at a very reasonable price if you understand what these types of machines are like. 5 |
