Things I didn't expect: - Extra top panel you can swap out for better air flow - Sound deadening materials on panels - Tool-less Design Fractal Really outdid themselves with this case! 5 |

Replaced my 10 year old 6D (mark I). What a difference in speed - Autofocus, shutter, even a bump in flash sync. The sensor looks pretty good, but I wasn't complaining about 6D. The handling is also nicer, same ergonomics but with the joystick selector and more buttons. The EVF is fine, better than I remember when I checked out Fuji XPro1 back a few years. Things improved. I do miss the top Screen for a quick glance before shooting, but appreciate the flip out screen, and AF improvements in middle age. I probably upgrade slower than others (still have my 7n-e and Canonet QL17 GIII) but if you're a bit like me, you'll like it. Things I don't like yet - (1) I wish GPS was still built in, so I wouldn't have to fiddle with my phone and hope it all stays paired, (2) I see way more seams in the plastic covering compared even with 6D which had a one piece molded top plastic skin ... I don't need pro level typhoon sealing, but hope it's just looks and the weather resistance is comparable to my 6D at least, over the next 10 years. (3) Need more basic mid level lenses, native and 3rd party - the f1.4, primes and such. 5 |
