I chose this film as a good easy film to begin learning the 4x5 view camera. I am very impressed with the quality and tonal range of what I've shot so far. The value of this film versus higher-priced kodak film is great!

I have used this film for the past 5 years for shooting with a view camera and it has been very trustworthy. Results are consistent. It does scratch easily, but I find that to be unavoidable with film!

It enabled me to use several relatively fast lenses that I had from the film camera days. focusing has to be done in live view as they are totally manual lenses. i allowed me to use about $400 dollars worth of lenses that I already had. It fits well and seems very positive.

This is an amazing film camera. It shoots great looking video. Color science is almost perfect. just the fact that it records 4096 x 2160 at 422 10 bit log files into SD cards is a good reason to buy this camera. It has a larger field of view than GH5 and when matched with a metabones speed booster it generates the same filed of view as super 35mm. Camera doesn't have internal stabilizer. which is a good thing. Buy a gimbal like a real film shooter. This camera is by far my favorite camera.

I have four Nikon film bodies from the 80's and the D850 feels so familiar. My large collection of AiS lenses and accessories work great, actually easier to focus than on the manual bodies. Other than that, the two most impressive features so far are: Live View has fantastic sensitivity. Even doing macro with reversed lenses at f22 on extensions - and with window lighting - the Live View picks it up. One of the most difficult forms of photography becomes child's play. The other impression is that, even though this is the most complicated camera I've ever owned (over 700 pages of manuals) it's also the easiest to use. I was taking great photos in minutes. Never had such a positive experience with a digital camera.

This lens is the answer to my wish to use my view camera experience without going back to film or medium format. I shoot mainly with a Canon EOS 1Ds Mk 3, and the camera is somewhere between a Hasselblad and 4 x 5. But, it has not had the ability to do the most sophisticated landscape and building shots because of the 35mm format. This lens fixes that for me. You WILL need to understand what you are doing; this isn't a point-and-shoot product! But, if you have used a view camera and want much of the capability without all of the inconvenience and complexity, you will be very glad that you bought this lens. BTW, it has INCREDIBLE optics but everyone else has already said that!

I film weddings and events and I was looking for a small camera to be unobtrusive to get a different point of view. This is just the ticket. Unless you are filming yourself you don't need a second screen I can use the app to get a view of the viewfinder. You do need either the battery pack or the second screen to charge the unit.

The film was used to take photographs with a view camera. The grain is nice and even, not too large, and the detail is sharp allowing the image to be blown up to sizes such as 11x14 and larger. No great drawbacks, good product overall.
