It provides protection from the general elements for the specified hard drive and has met all expectations thus far. USB 3.0, included USB hub, external powering and complete flexibility for your ports to be in or out, what else could you want? And now they include rack mount ears in a clever arrangement. Finally the best part - make sure to install their custom driver and don't use the default Windows one. That way you get interface multi-client, meaning the driver does not get locked to one client (so you can run multiple applications off the interface at once). Otherwise avoid the MOTU interfaces. I had to junk a MIDI Express XT because their driver (from 2013!) refuses to let a Windows computer sleep. They verified the issue, but yet at the time of this review, many months later, they neglect to fix it. So I had to buy a new interface, but this one is better anyhow. 5 |
