Magic Mouse on Windows-7 (Toshiba Satellite Laptop) works great! After searching the web and finding a driver that would work (AppleWirelessMouse645 driver application). I was able to quickly and seemlessly get the Apple magic mouse work on my wifes laptop running Windows-7 64bit. The Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter by Iogear, goes great with this mouse. Generally speaking, pleased with performance on my 64-bit, Windows 7 laptop, USB 3.0 port. I don't have precise metrics, but the read and write speeds are very impressive for files of all sizes. When I first started using it, I had to reformat it to NTFS so it could take some very large (8GB) files i have. Ergonomically, the retraction mechanism is a little odd and takes some getting used to - no big deal though. I have just had it for a few weeks - so its too early to comment on its longevity and reliability. But my past experience with SanDisk products is excellent. 5 |
