It comes open very easily, so just use a rubber band to keep it closed (simple enough). I find it to be quite useful. 5 |

This came out just in time! I had the original SmallRig Matte box and luckily was able to return it before my return window closed! Love the lightweight nature and smaller form factor than the previous version. Does exactly what I need! My coworker has the Tilta version of this and I prefer the SmallRig version, although there are subtle differences. 5 |

Bought this for when I travel and use rental cars - can't use the air vent version. Keeps phone secure and doesn't require the cover to be taken off of phone. Liked it so much I ordered a second one for my wife's car... I haven't had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews yet, but then again I haven't owned this for very long... 5 |
