For the price, the korg sq-1 can't be beat. I can use this to control all my synths including a Moog sub phatty, arturia minibrute, kawai k1 and a korg volca beats. Its compact, sturdily built and can be used with both midi and cv. It comes with 2 aa batteries (it can be powered by batteries or usb) and a midi to 1/4 input converter. I only wish it had come with some patch cables in order to readily be used to sequence via cv. I made the mistake of assuming it came with and i had to run out and buy some. Otherwise i am very pleased with the sq-1 and would highly recommend it. 5 |

This keyboard creates both MIDI and CV and it's also a sequencer and a drum-machine and everything you would like to have. It makes most of my Eurorack modules so much more useful, because there are things I wouldn't do because of too much wiring, but KeyStep Pro creates all the signals, they're synchronized and it's so much easier. 5 |

this controller controls EVERYTHING would need it to, and is a cobination of a GREAT midi controller for beats, and an EVEN BETTER control surface...the key for me is the LARGE FONT LCD....no more squinting with reason, i dont even have much need to look anywhere else, it almost feels like a stand alone device....AWESOME NEKTAR 5 |
