Toy Microphone With Stand Toys R Us

Lens protectors are like Toys r Us bike helmets. People say you need one, so you buy one for protection. Luckily these are less goofy looking than spiderman helmets. They disappear with the look of the lens. You don't really need one of these but it's okay to have. So don't pay $ for one (I once did, I didn't know about Tiffen at the time). One bad thing I've noticed is that these filters bring more flares in the shot, but it depends on the light direction.

Great microphone stand!

This is a simple microphone stand.

This stand makes regular light stands look like toys. It is heavy and stable and the lockdowns hold both tiers with little effort. Even with huge octaboxes on it, I'm never worried about them letting loose. The arm that comes with this system is surprisingly great. I'm using it to get some extra length on a gridded strip box used as a hair light.

For an inexpensive microphone stand, it seems to be solid.

This is an amazing mic stand, although looks like an adult toy. It takes little space on my tray for live shows and you can bend it to fit a gig bag.
