Had used the Google Nest wifi mesh system for 3+ years and it was really starting to get spotty & inconsistent. Researched new systems and TP-Link always kept coming up. Bought it and it did not disappoint. Easily installed (with the app), and works flawlessly. Our router is at the far end of the house and with the 3 satellites, we have full coverage to the other side, over 2 floors, and out to the detached garage. We were using FIVE satellites with the Google system and the TP-Link still outperforms it. That being said, the Google system was Wifi 5 and TP-Link is Wifi 6E, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with the better coverage. Highly recommend.

The AX1500 was very easy to install (10 minutes). It is paired with a TP-Link AX6000 WiFi 6 router. Vastly improved the WiFi signal at a long distance from the router.

Very happy with this router. Stronger wifi signal thru out my 2000ft home vs old TP link. And picking up wifi6.

I bought this on recommendation from TP-Link, and it does what I needed, and very well. I wanted to add networking to my backyard shop, and already had a TP-Link outdoor EAP running to provide wifi over a wide area. I added this in Client mode to connect via wifi, and it gets full signal inside the building, so installation was very easy (~15' from EAP). Shop connects to house router and DHCP seamlessly. The downstream device is an automation hub (via TP-Link switch) that runs Z-Wave external devices in the shop and in an outside greenhouse. I can connect back to the network via wifi from a tablet, then access the hub interface with ease. The hub then meshes with another hub in the house for complete access to everything. Eventually may add more Z-Wave and Ethernet devices. Really happy with this product.

This was a quick setup to extend the wifi from my TP-Link AX3000 wifi router. It copied over the SSID from my router and now I have strong coverage throughout the house.

A few years ago I switched to Google Nest mesh wifi and have been very pleased until recently. The app no longer offers information about wifi speed and Google seems unwilling/unable to fix it. In the short time I had Nest two of the points died and had to be replaced. I started looking for an alternative and found the TP-Link Deco X55. It get's very good reviews and includes wifi 6 which is a real plus. Of course it doesn't hurt that the system is about half the price of Nest. Now I have no dead spots and faster speed. The only weakness I have found is the app could be more robust, offering more information to help in placement of the points. Perhaps TP-Link will upgrade the app in the near future.
