You can loop this over some thing and push the button on the tensioner and pull it tight. Better yet for an Heavy Duty approach simply wrap the loop around your gear and pass the tensioner through the loop for twice the strength. You then can still push the button and pull out the slack out for a custom one off solution! 5 |

There are two screws inside the bracket that you loosen to adjust the width. There is also a tensioner inside pulling the two sides bask together effectively pinching down on the phone. The unit feels solid and the tensioner feels pretty strong. When assembled with an iPhone6 everything felt very steady and secure. Would walk carefully but would have no hesitation attaching to a monopod for hiking backwoods. 5 |
