Trackball Laser Pointer Computer Mouse

I'm at the computer 12 hours/day and I find a trackball much better than a mouse for my hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. My Logitech Trackball developed floating cursor and I couldn't cure it. I looked at lots of recommendations from friends and relatives, but no one mentioned the Kensington SlimBlade Trackball. I found it on my own, and it is perfect for me. The large ball makes for easy cursor precision. Its simple clean design is very appealing to me. It's the easiest least stressful pointing device I've ever used. (I started out with a CPM machine so some of you will have an idea of how many pointing devices I may have used over the years.)

It took me a while to figure out there is no red light in this like a laser pointer!

Trackball purchased for use with TV computer with expectation that there would not be sufficient surface-space for a mouse. This works perfectly.

This is my second trackball, for a second computer. Suffering from carpal tunnel, this is the only mouse I have found that can allow me to work extended periods on time in front of a computer. The wrist rest does nothing for me. A bean bag type support is much better for me.

I have used this mouse trackball for years and it is the best on the market. I have one at work now I need one for my home computer. I have to save my money for the one for my home computer, my job paid for the one at work, again awesome mouse.

I have a couple of these. My first computer was a Mac PowerBook with a trackball, and over the 20 years since then I have never learned to feel comfortable with a mouse. A trackball is so much more comfortable because you move only your fingers, not your hand. I've tried several different trackballs, and this one is the best, hands down. With the wrist rest extension, it feels completely natural under my hand. Moving the cursor around with the ball is effortless; scrolling with the scroll ring takes a little more getting used to. The 4 buttons are great; I have the top right programmed for Hit Return and the left for Back on the internet. Installing Kensington TrackBallWorks is a must for programming actions and adjusting speed of motion. I can't imagine anyone who's used this item ever using a mouse again. The only drawback is that it's a little big to carry around with a laptop. For out and about purposes, I'll use the trackpad for casual things, but for any serious work, the smaller and lighter 2-button Kensington Orbit Trackball with Scroll Ring is a quite acceptable substitute.

It is one strong laser pointer. NOT a toy. Not a cat toy. Take the literature included seriously.

Great pen writes nice, the laser pointer is great and so is the handy flashlight.

I have been using a trackball for more at least fifteen years (my preference). The 4-button USB Expert Pro Mouse - Trackball by Kensington is there best trackball yet.
