Trackball Mx Ergo

I have had many many Logitech keyboards and mice. A few months ago, I got new MX Ergo blue ball mouse and this keyboard. I love it of course. However, once desktop goes into sleep mode, and I wake it up...the keyboard does not wake, I have to unplug and replug it in to the USB hub. I believe it is because the in line resistors, needs more juice to start. Is it an over sized capacitor in there? Does anyone know? This keyboard is mechanical, with large high keys and sound. But I believe it is best for my messy desk. And looks fabulous next to the MXErgo mouse. What a pair! I made a custom shelf for both that can swing out easily. (Cedar wood with curves and sanded corners and edges).

Pug it in and use an older trackball.

I got this for my Logitech MX mini keyboard, does what it is made for.

I have been using a trackball for more at least fifteen years (my preference). The 4-button USB Expert Pro Mouse - Trackball by Kensington is there best trackball yet.

My Kensington Orbit Trackball is exceptional. Easy to use and very conforaable to the hand. I have been using a different brand trackball for many years and was disappointed that it is no longer manufactured. Thought it was the end of the line until I used the Kensington Orbit. One feature that I like is the scroll ring. Another feature that was important to me was the position of the trackball allowing me to use my index finger instead of a thump operated track ball. I would highly recommend this to anyone who uses a trackball. Thank you, Con Levenduski

I'm at the computer 12 hours/day and I find a trackball much better than a mouse for my hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. My Logitech Trackball developed floating cursor and I couldn't cure it. I looked at lots of recommendations from friends and relatives, but no one mentioned the Kensington SlimBlade Trackball. I found it on my own, and it is perfect for me. The large ball makes for easy cursor precision. Its simple clean design is very appealing to me. It's the easiest least stressful pointing device I've ever used. (I started out with a CPM machine so some of you will have an idea of how many pointing devices I may have used over the years.)

I tried several mice and trackballs including logitech M570 and the Trackball Marble. This trackball by far is the best for CAD. The ball movement is so precise, fast and smooth. The stroll ring could be better, but it's not so essential to my work. Highly recommended.

My 2nd Orbit Trackball. The first lasted MANY MANY years. Made the mistake of buying a cheaper Logitech trackball, that barely lasted ONE year. I really like the big buttons on the Orbit Trackball, & the velocity response (can move cursor both in very small increments, or sweep across the screen quickly). Because I've had a small computer desk (30 wide) for 35yrs, a trackball is necessary. My extended keyboard & trackball fit nicely. A mouse not only requires MUCH more space, I HATE constantly picking up & relocating a mouse to move around the 21 monitor: a waste of time, distracting & frustrating. I never have to look to find where my trackball is! Plug & play simplicity, & easy to clean.

This is a very nice trackball that is comfortable and convenience to use.

Professionals use trackballs, and if you use a trackball you should use the Slimblade!
