my old print file archival was not transparent, but those are transparent, so we can see more clearly the negative. wonderful product ! 5 |

I have tried several different types of pages for slide storage and these by Print File are, by far, the best I've used! I have both cardboard & plastic mounted slides and these pages hold both equally well. They are very durable and hold the slides tightly, yet you can still easily remove them. It is easy to view your slides through the pages using a lightbox. This is my third order of these and I would recommend them to anyone! 5 |

I use for backing up files, music etc. Excellent design, probably the best design of any flash drive. It doesn't have any flashing lights on it which I know some people don't like. One thing I don't like is the way the security encrypting software works. Don't get me wrong,it works very well but it does not let you organize all file types together in order. So their mixed all up and you have to look more for certain files. You can get around this by not encrypting files which allows you to group file types together but their not secured. 5 |

What a difference ,the picture is bright and detailed I did not think that it would have that much effect on the image...I went from a sound transparent screen to this and had to move the center channel but totally worth it! 5 |

Now that I'm up on the usage learning curve it's doing just what I was looking for (a tad slower process that I was hoping for but nice quality). I do Photoshop stuff but not any pro/semi-pro image processing so it took a bit (one day of playing with just a single slide) to figure out all the buttons. A newbie step-by-step procedure/example with ample screen shots would have helped, I expect. Initial plumbing sequence of powering up/restarting computer/ finding drivers wasn't exactly as described but eventually everybody found everybody. I do just two things now: Create a presentation jpg directly from SilverFast and create an archive file at 1/4 optical resolution (except for real important slides). I bring the archive file into Photoshop to create a useful hi-res image that's larger than the presentation format (3Mb vs 300Kb) using Photoshop tools I'm familiar with. More time with SilverFast will change that, I expect. This is not for anyone wanting to spend a weekend to digitize up a lifetime's worth of slides/film, though. 5 |

This scanner works very well scanning slides at 1200 dpi then saving to a smaller file. The image remains clear and sharp. Tried scanning at 300 and it was pixel-ly. Not sure if there is anything out there that is speedy so we remain happy at this price and speed. 5 |

Well built portfolio binder! Transparent photo sheets are truly transparent and work displays beautifully. Glasslike plastic does not hold fingerprints and holds images perfect 5 |

This thing looks indestructible. I like the transparent lid so I can immediately see what's inside. 5 |
