Transpose Function On Yamaha P115 Keyboard

This keyboard has the Sounds of a Kronos with out the heavy price tag. 88 weighted keys with a nice feel and action. Easy to navigate color touch screen and many user programmable buttons make using this keyboard a pleasure. The setlist feature is a a huge help for live performance. Now for the downside. This keyboard is heavy. Weighing in at about 50 pounds. Also the transpose button is a little weird having to use a shift key then push the octave change buttons to transpose. . Also the boot up time is very long, about 2 minutes before you can play. All in all this is a great keyboard.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! This Yamaha Keyboard Bag is just great. It's compact. It's a perfect size for my keyboard to fit in. It protects it on all sides.
