Travel Zoom Camera

Works wonderfully. Lots of travel to the adjustment switch so, you can do a slower zoom, more so than the zoom on the camera.

compact, lightweight, easy to use power zoom (which is very helpful if you travel and want others to use your camera). Seems to take clear zoom pics from my usage so far.

I use the zoom lens mostly for wildlife phototgraphy, but also scenery and travel shots. It is easy to use, and can take great pictures in lower light than other zoom lenses I have used. It is a little bulky, and doesn't fit in the camera bag that came with the camera.

I have been a fan of the 1 inch cameras. I am a serious amateur, but need a camera for the pocket, so most DSLR or even mirorless are out for me. I have owned the SONY rx 100 series. That is an incredible travel camera, even better then this canon in some ways. But to me, I do not need the larger zoom on the SOny. The canon combination of 1 inch sensor with the F 1.8 lens and image stabilization, can rival APS-C sensors in lower light and certainly in daylight. image quality is amazing, excellent feel and control, fantastic touch screen function. the camera also feels more substantial the Lumix or even the SOny. If you strictly want a travel camera with a bigger zoom, go with the SONY, but if you want an overall day to day camera as a sort of SLR substitute that fits in the pocket. this is the winner. overall, I think Canon really hit a home run with this camera, if used for the right purpose.

It is the best camera for travel. I use it to shoot birds and other things with the terrific Zeiss 24-600 mm zoom lens. It focuses fast and tracks well. I bought two to have a spare. I will leave my heavy Nikon Z camera and lenses at home while traveling abroad.

I purchased this to replace my finally worn-out FZ150, which gave me many years of lightweight travel and service over several continents and hours of training video production. This fixed-lens wonder excels at and surpasses every function of the FZ150 EXCEPT ... it's a freakin' beast. It is bigger than my E-M1 II, and heavier as well, so it is no longer an ideal travel camera, in terms of weight. It also extends to the length of a zoom (the Leica zoom barrel does everything within the extended on length, until turned off) and takes on the look of a pro video camera with the hood properly attached. However, the design and quality of this thing deserves the five stars, and makes it worth its cost.

Perfect travel camera. Small, with zoom range of 25-250 covers most situations. Plus a 20.1 MP sensor. Great quality..

Nice travel camera! Great zoom and small enough to fit in a small purse. The one thing that would make it better is having the screen flip to take selfies. Hope to see that in future models

I bought Sony RX10m4 in 2017 and has been using it for over 5 years for travel photography and occasional video. It is the best bridge camera that combines reasonable quality sensor (type 1) with exceptional zoom, good build, reasonable size and weight. When I am on the go, I cannot imagine shlepping full-frame camera with all the glass and weight for a similar zoom range. Unfortunately, battery life is not great. I always carry 3 spare batteries with me.

Light weight travel gear for landscape, portraiture, wildlife and birding! Paired with Sony A7C makes for a perfect compact telephoto zoom setup for hiking and travelling! Sharp, versatile and with a great reach using Sony camera feature like Clear Image Zoom which in combination with APSC crop mode effectively give a 2.25 times image zoom without much loss in image quality. This means my little Tamron 70-300 when paired with this compact full-frame camera can zoom up-to 675mm of telephoto range!! Just perfect!!!
