Router is simple and faster than my previous D-link at 150mbps.I like that I don't have to see all the flashing lights.

I use this product to support a home video security system. I have 5 wireless G videocameras streaming live video from throughout my home. This is a budget setup and this router fit the bill perfectly. The router is constantly running at near wireless capacity as far as throughput. I use it on WPA2 b/g/n without issues. I gave it 5 stars because considering the cost and the benefits, I believe it is 5 stars. If this cost more, it would be 3 stars.

I bought this router to accommodate a web/minecraft/media server, constant online gaming, excessive video streaming, and three wireless access points (my house has metal lathe, which acts like a faraday cage). Was previously using some Netgear garbage home user Wi-Fi router that couldn't keep up with the demand and was awful to manage. This router is a breeze to manage if you have at least basic networking knowledge. The 10 ports allow me to wire my server, computer, access points, and other peripheral gear to keep the wireless networks from getting congested. The quality of my home network improved dramatically and allowed me to actually utilize every drop of the gigabit ethernet we pay for. I also appreciate Ubiquiti's detailed firmware upgrade logs. I would absolutely recommend this router to anyone looking to have fast, easily configurable internet at home, and I'm sure it would hold up well for a small business too.

I've gotten this router not only for home but also for the worksite where I work (church). This combined with a mesh system makes for one very powerful and functional wireless network for usage. It is costly but worth every penny compared to all the others out there. Buy or buy not. If you chose not, good luck on your wireless routing. If you choose yes, be prepared to have a very NICE wireless router. And yes, it even comes with all kinds of Unicorn Poop (LEDs) for those who love to have color options too.

I operate a home-based PC repair business and have occasion to setup networks for customers in my community. This is a great basic router for many of my senior clients who only have one computer and just need an inexpensive router for wireless access. I also have set it up as a wired hotspot (disabling the DHCP) for customers who have large homes or a shop attached to their house where the primary router doesn't get good wireless coverage in a given area. It doesn't give blazing fast wireless speed, but they do hold up to electrical storms pretty well (we are in the country and power flickers are common with our electrical service). For the price, I think their great.

This product replaced a Trendnet Displayport KVM which I didn't like so much that I spent the money to replace it. In short, the unit works well and is reliable, it's expandible, looks good and doesn't have any anoying features. I have 3 coputers that needed to be switched and two monitors. This unit is expandible so by adding a second one, you can control up to 4 monitors. Didn't need that flexibility and didn't appreciate it till the pandemic when my wife started working from home and her job required 3 screens, with a fourth being a bonus. That expandibility became a real bonus and it's nice to have because you never know when you will need it. The unit remembers how you lay out the screens. I place and size some screens to open on one monitor and others on the other monitors. When switching between computers, turning them on and off, all the program open in that consistent way. No need to reconfigure anything. There are no anoying or distracting features such as flashing lights like I had with my Trendnet unit. Unobstrusive at home or at the office. It costs more than other units but you get cables included and that saves a bunch, including itme, if you have to buy them on your own. The displayport cables should be longer but the rest of the cables were fine. I have not used the speaker output or the microphone input so can't comment on these.

I am a 30+ Telecommunications Technician by trade. At work I use high end Networking gear. At home I dont have the budgets they do at work. I want reliable, affordable and easily configurable devices for my home Network and family use. Last thing I want to do is come home and troubleshoot Network Issues. This is my second Trendnet product. It foot the bill for all my criteria for years and as my Network grew I stuck with Trendnet. There tech support is excellent as well. As far as CONS, I havent found any yet, except internal power transformer would be nice on all models, those bricks take up a lot of space on Power strips
