Trick To Raising Projector Screen

The cord that came with our new classroom projector was too short. The one we ordered did the trick.

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

Raising the screen by three inches improves my posture. It also makes keyboarding and using the trackpad more comfortable. The rubbery top surface keeps the laptop from sliding around.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

This simple devise does the trick by making the screen visible in sunlight. Depending on sun angle, we may have to tilt the screen or change our video angle a bit, but in all cases we were able to clearly see the screen over a full week of shooting in sunlight. I have used these for various cameras for years and they work very well. The trick is cleaning the screen really well before placement. After taking the protector off, no residue is left.

I have a small laptop and needed a bigger screen. This remote monitor was easy to install and did the trick. I recommend it.
