I had no complaints with v.1 but I can notice a (very small) improvement in the finish of v.2. It’s now less rugged which makes the image a little less “blurry” 5 |

You would not believe the beam of light put out by this tiny triple AAA battery powered device. Literally blinding. Buying a few more to give to my wife and kids to put on their key chain and/or glove box. Amazing. 5 |

I have a mix of Canon and Godox flashes, and they work perfectly with this transmitter. I agree with what other reviewers say that the battery indicator is expecting a 1.5 V battery and rechargeables have 1.2 V so I am just using alkaline batteries. Probably would work well with the hybrid rechargeable, which have a voltage closer to 1.5 V 5 |

I do macro photography using a rail system and my camera would loose power after only 1.5 hours and then the battery pack took 2.3 hours to recharge fully. This is an excellent solution so I can keep shooting for multiple hours before processing. Thank you to a previous reviewer that explain how it fit, as I was almost disappointed. I wish install instructions came with the unit. 5 |

I used a Vello version of this Nikon battery grip on my D800 for about 1.5 years until I noticed that the green LED power on was lighting up when I set the camera down on the grip. Replacing with this Nikon version solved that problem as I should have known it would. I just wish it weren't so expensive up front. 5 |
