Triple A Nimh Battery

Battery charger for up to 8 AA or AAA NiMH NiCd batteries. It also will tell you if a battery is no good. You can also completely drain a battery on it before a recharge, which extends the life and strength of the battery. The only setback is that this is not a fast charger, so extra batteries are needed if one is doing a lot of flash work with remotes. 5 |

I've never had a battery charger that would actually drain the batteries completely before charging them. That's a really good idea for NiMH, since they are supposed to be empty, but their usefulness drops off before they are dead, if you're using them for flash. The display is bright, and always on unless you unplug it, which is what I do. It comes with a car adapter. Excellent investment, very happy that I went with this particular charger, so I could have two sets of batteries at all times. Batteries also charge up quickly, about 4 hours as advertised, with a complete drainage. 5 |

-Superb battery life (At 100mw, I get over 8 hours with a pair of rechargeable 2400mh NiMh AA. It will go 14 hours if using lithium AA!) -Excellent sound quality. -Unrivaled reliability. -Smartphone App lets you change settings via dweedle tone. I love the newer, darker finish on them. 5 |

This is a great little EDC light for the money! I am very pleased that it accepts NiMH as well as lithium, so the user can avoid terrible, no good, very bad, chronically leaking alkaline batteries. With a lithium battery in particular, this light will add very little weight to your pocket or purse. Only unknown so far is whether or not self-discharge of the battery is a problem. 5 |

I have the larger version of this battery tester but also wanted to be able to test NIMH and Li-Ion 9v batteries. I am very happy with both testers and feel like these are the best on the market. Highly recommended! 5 |

What else could you want in a AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd battery charger? It has eight LCDs showing the charging status for each battery, a discharge function to refresh the batteries, reverse polarity protection if the batteries are installed backwards, and a separate automatic shutoff for each battery when it is fully charged. And it can charge any combination of one or more AA, AAA NiMh and/or NiCd batteries. Its rated charging time is 3.6-4.6 hr for AA batteries and 1.6-2.0 hr for AAA's. 5 |

I use these exclusively and have 2 chargers. I have not found a better NiMH battery. These hold their charge and deliver maximum capacity. I quit using Canon batteries in my Canon 7D II in favor of these. They don't self-discharge weekly like the Canon batteries. I also use these in other heavy current draw devices and they really work very well. I highly recommend these. 5 |

Finally a battery tester that will read NIMH batteries, along with Alkaline, Lithium and 9Volt. The pulse load gives a more accurate reading of what battery to use in a portable flash unit. Very easy to use and packs in easily when in the field. 5 |

This charger can charge up to eight rechargeable batteries. It can also discharge them first, if you want, but I don't think that's at all necessary with NiMH batteries. A small display panel below each battery shows the discharge/charge state of the battery in that slot. 5 |
