Tripp Lite Displayport To Hdmi Adapter Cable

It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

We were hooking up an HDMI TV as a second monitor on a PC that had DisplayPort, this cable was perfect. It was the length we needed and avoided having to use an adapter from the DisplayPort on the PC to change to HDMI. Highly recommend use of this cable over a double ended HDMI cable and an adapter.

I have an older Tripp Lite online UPS that only has a serial port for the interface. This adapter allowed me to communicate with the UPS over USB. I did have an install problem, but Tripp Lite tech support walked me through the driver config and all is well. PS: And Tech Support was a real person on the phone... amazing in this day, and to be commended.

I was unable to upgrade firmware and/or control my iOptron mount with the KeySpan Tripp-Lite USB to Serial cable. It was suggested by iOptron that I get the FIDI cable instead. A member of our Astronomy club recommended Startech.....and the rest is history. I would not hesitate using this company for additional needs.

I needed a shorter power cable from my Tripp-Lite on-rack power strip to my two TP-Link TL-480T+ routers. The shortened power cable provided does the job perfectly and I don't need to dress long power cords or use adapters that could get loose.

I've had this adapter for a month now, and it works as promised. No complaints. I have a desktop with a DisplayPort out and a monitor with HDMI and VGA in. Bought this to connect my desktop to the HDMI port (via a longer HDMI cable). Image quality appears to be great. No complaints/regrets with this purchase.

Need hdmi for Caldigit tb3 dock- this works. You need an active displayport to hdmi adapter - which is not aways labeled in product description.

I have been searching for years to find a DisplayPort to HDMI converter that will work with my old 27 iMac (Late 2009). Every other active adapter I tried would only display a max resolution of 1080p and no higher. And for some reason other adapters would register the display as a TV rather than a monitor. But this active adapter actually works! It mirrors the iMac display at 1440p as well as many other options. Of course I had to use a miniDP to DP adaptor, but that's beside the point. Finally! A solution!
