I have an older Tripp Lite online UPS that only has a serial port for the interface. This adapter allowed me to communicate with the UPS over USB. I did have an install problem, but Tripp Lite tech support walked me through the driver config and all is well. PS: And Tech Support was a real person on the phone... amazing in this day, and to be commended. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one windows laptop and one MacBook that does not have a display port, an ethernet port, and other additional ports. It is really handy and very portable that easily connect USB 3, ethernet port, VGA port and HDMI port which allows connecting two display using one VGA and HDMI ports. It also has an ethernet cable that helps me to connect faster internet. I also like that it has a USB 3.0 that supports a faster connection and does not require any drivers. 5 |

This adapter works great if you have a Display Port connector on your PC and are connecting to a display with an HDMI input. I was looking for one without a locking Display Port connector. The picture online shows it without a lock, but it does have one. You have to press a button to remove it from the jack 5 |

If you only have one HDMI port on your GPU like me, this is a great adapter to have. Just plug the display port side into the computer and then hook up your HDMI cable to the other end. 5 |

had a bellkin usb c adapter with hdmi out and a few ports from my usb-c only macbook days. the hdmi was really slow to connect so i was looking for a display port solution. this unit was the most expensive one i looked at and im super glad i paid more. the tb4 is insanely fast and i never get the “your accessory is drawing too much power’ message any more. the display port is also crazy fast to connect from stand by, the front and rear facing ports are nice for accessibility while keeping a pretty tidy desk, and the power brick is actually smaller than the one for my usb c. if you can afford it, this is the one to get in 2023. 5 |

I was able to attach three monitors to my Dell Inspiron 17 - 3780 Laptop but I needed two display port to HDMI cables to attach my two HDMI monitors - and when connecting to the Display Ports the one HDMI out on the docking station replicates one of the Display Port outputs... combined with using the HDMI out on my laptop and the screen of my laptop I have four monitors now - it would have been nice to attach five if the HDMI out on the docking station wasn't replicating one of the display port outputs... In any case, the universal dock has been rock solid so far. 5 |
