True Surround Sound Gaming Headphones

The quantum surround sound will give you the surround sound experience and is the best part of the headphones. You can customize your sound experience with the app. The microphone works perfect.The headphones worked perfect with my Xbox One. This headset gives immersive gaming experience you need. Negatives: None but if nitpicking, the sound cable can be little longer.

True sound, true monitoring headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5.1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.1 systems.but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate. Click on the 7.1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows.This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7.1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music. Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!

If you want to add true surround sound to your tv shows or movies the new Sonos 3 is the best speaker system for your tv or music you like to listen too. I recently upgrade through the Sonos upgrade program and I am really happy that I did.

Bose does a great job and making a little speaker sound incredible. Not true surround as it has one speaker but the fidelity is good enough to hit all the notes with great clarity. I got it pretty wet poolside and has not affected performance. Batteries seem to go a little faster at high volume, but honestly you don’t need much volume to enjoy your tunes.

To me, a sound bar alone just can’t re-create true surround sound. So to me, getting the extra speakers to go with my sound bar was a must. These have great sound, and since I have a Sony sound bar, they were really easy to set up.
