We were looking for a mic that would work with vocals and instruments for Old Time and Bluegrass bands. This mic is better than we dreamed. Easy to balence. Works great with our small mixer. Great price, great product!

I've been familiar with Ibanez instruments for decades, and owned one in my college days. After an accident recovery and 20 years of not being able to play bass, I recently decided to take up playing again. I anticipated a low budget instrument, with all the normal flaws associated - but this surprised me. The body is lovely, and although not exceptionally weighty, it's heavy enough to give great tone and sustain. Frets are nicely inlaid, and free from chatter. In fact, aside from a very slight intonation adjustment on the G string, this instrument plays as well as some much more expensive bodies. The active bass boost is a bit of a gimmick, but tone is quite diverse and dynamic. Tone tends toward being very bright, but it easy to attenuate. All together satisfied.

I provide sound for a variety of bands, and these quick-release couplers save a lot of time. They are very well built and provide a solid, tight fitting between the mic and stand. They add a couple of inches to the stand (or boom), but so far this hasn't presented any problems; in fact, the slightly longer booms come in handy from time to time when you need a little extra reach (like rigging vocals for a grand piano). It would be nice if the separately available mounting heads (IO-H) were also available in a lower-priced multipack. Purchased individually they cost 75% of the entire assembly.

I shoot HS and college sports and am always looking for flexibility. This stool can change my height, the height of my camera, or just provide a place to rest for a moment during halftime or a long day of track & field shooting. Portable, lightweight, and I feel confident it will remain at the height I put it at. Not sure it's recommended, but I have stood on it to give myself just the right extra height during team photos.

Used by students in a college news program these mics are durable and provide good sound under a variety of conditions.

Do not put a black filter on your silver lenses. This filter will not only match the esthetics of your Leica, but provide protection with the quality that can only be matched by Leica.
