I randomly saw this cable while browsing and decided to try it. It worked amazing on my iPhone! Super easy to use!

I have owned Cotton Carrier and Trekking Safari harness, and this is my favorite. It is comfortable to hold my Nikon D700 with power grip and 70-200 f/2.8. It doesn't use the screw hole on the bottom of the camera, which is easy to be unbuckled to put on a tripod. Kgear sells inexpensive parts that support multiple cameras, and their buckles can be attached to the original camera straps so you can easily switch between harness and camera strap. The only con is it is quite bulky in my backpack. The 90 degree turn required by Cotton Carrier is quite annoying. I missed some shots in event shooting due to this stupid turn. The back vest pushes pressure on my neck while the front vest holds all the weight. It is not tripod friendly and you have to carry the hex key around. Trekking Safari is comfortable and nicely distributes most of the weight to the back. It doesn't use the bottom screw as well. It is quite compact and is easy to fit in a backpack. However, it restricts the camera movements, especially if you try to turn the camera to a portrait position.

Using this to turn my iPhone into a live stream camera. No issues using three of them at a time.

Ball was stuck and won't turn at first, but realized it just needed more initial torque and then it turned properly. This little tripod does the intended job of holding my iphone and allowing me to make photos at a distance with the included remote control. I don't know if I would trust the magnets to hold my iPhone all all metal surfaces as the iPhone is quite heavy and the feet can slip on slick surfaces. However I have not used it extensively yet.

This is my new “must carry” device! Hang on to the end of this review, I have a suggestion for Garmin. This thing works perfectly - I love the way check in messages are supplied with a map of your current loc - brilliant! Battery life is excellent as is signal acquisition. I own an iPhone 14 with satellite SOS but wanted the InReach as a “rugged” backip and to send “non-emergency” texts which the iPhone can’t in satellite mode. In fact I like it so much I told an older friend who has had heart trouble about it. He lives on a farm without cell service and the InTeach can get him help in an emergency he otherwise had no access to! SO! Here is my suggestion for Garmin (and 1st time users). I read all of the reviews and most if not all of the low ratings (undeserved) had to do with problems initializing the device. To avoid problems START, STEP 1.0 is GO TO EXPLORE.GARMIN.COM and SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT FIRST!!! You only need to turn the device on to obtain the IMEI and device codes for registration - do EVERYTHING ELSE on your smartphone or PC. After you set up your account, (should take less than 5 minutes) turn on the InReach, walk outside and wait for it to activate. Again should take just a few minutes! It is my opinion that if Garmin emphasized this sequence (rather than simply stating “you need an active account to use the device”) there would be less confusion and more user satisfaction. Thank you Garmin for an amazingly compact layer of security!!
