I purchased this speaker to be used with my turntable. The setup was simple, my existing Sonos system recognized it immediately and did all the work. It does take a minute or 2 to understand the multiple choices of how to use the speaker with your system. The sound quality is much better than I expected and operation is now 2nd nature. I would highly recommend this speaker and I remain a Sonos supporter. Excellent system. 5 |

I purchased my Sonos Five speaker as part of a Turntable Set with the Pro-Ject TI Phono SB Turntable (with preamp so no separate amplifier needed) through Sonos. The speaker is wired to the turntable but also works wirelessly with my other Sonos speakers through the App. It provides stereo sound (great when listening to vinyl) when placed horizontally or mono sound when placed vertically. When using the turntable, make sure to pick turntable in the App as source, you can select Five as the speaker as well as any ogther speakers you have in other rooms. I recommend this set and have been pleased with the Five. 5 |

I always had an issue with my turntable that the output volume was ridiculously low... I had to crank the volume on my receiver nearly all the way, and even then it didn't sound right. I got this to place between the record player and the receiver and BOOM it was perfect. This unit is small and easy to keep out of the way. Highly recommend! 5 |

Receiver is a great fit for both older Audio Components and most-modern ones, as well. I have my Turntable, Cassette Player, Disc Player--all plugged into the Receive and it sounds great with my older Speakers. Additionally, with iPod and Bluetooth Inputs, it's as modern as today. 5 |
