Tv Box For Computer Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really excellent smaller Samsung TV, and can be used both as a regular TV or a computer monitor. The unboxing and set up took less than 5 minutes from beginning to end. I plugged it in, connected it to WiFi, downloaded a software update, and downloaded all my streaming apps like Netflix and HBO Max. The Samsung TV has a very high quality picture and sound at 4K, plus for pictures, videos, movies, or tv shows that are not originally at 4K the TV automatically converts the picture quality up to 4K, which is awesome ! No issues at all so far with either sound or video, everything works really really well and it's very high quality for a smaller tv. I would recommend this 100% to anyone who doesn't really need a huge living room tv, or for anyone who needs a better computer monitor. 100% excellence from Samsung !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to give the AOC 31.5" full HD WLED curved gaming LCD monitor in black and red a try. I love that the monitor is curve. It sits up high enough that I'm leveled with the monitor. I'm very happy with it. The picture is picture perfect! I use this for gaming and also work. I have it sitting next to my other computer screen. I'm definitely going to get another AOC curved monitor and get rid of my smaller monitor. It's sturdy and sits perfect on my desk. I can't say one negative thing about this monitor at all. It's easy to clean. It came well packed in the box and had no damage to it. It was easy to take out of the box and took less than 5 minutes to set everything up. This is the perfect size computer to have for every day use and especially for gaming! I didn't think I would like the curved monitor, but I was wrong. It's amazing!

This monitor more than meets my needs while simultaneously making the most of my new computer's graphics capabilities. Right out of the box, it needed no adjustments. The picture is super sharp. The stand it comes with is also very stable - no worries of any accidents. The monitor also came very well packed in the manufacturer's box. I was impressed. Best of all, with a 32-inch monitor, I can do spreadsheets from up to 8 feet away. Working from home just became working from the couch. It doesn't get any better than that.

I bought two of these. I use one in the living room for my TV, A/V receiver, cable box and PS3. The other is in my loft/office area where I have a my desktop computer, cable modem, wireless router, network switch and AT&T microcell. The product seems to keep up just fine and shows minimal load on the unit under normal usage. There have been a couple power blips (common in south Florida) while I was at work as indicated by my kitchen appliances having their clocks reset. My desktop computer has remained on continuously so they seem to be doing the job. I plan to purchase more of these in the future when I add TVs and entertainment systems to the other rooms of my house.

I initially used it as a computer monitor, then hung it on the wall as a small TV, and now just recently I took it back down and pit it on my desk to use as a computer monitor! At 32" it preforms well at both, and happens to be very roomy as a desktop monitor! I love that it has miracast so you can use it for wireless DeX (found on S series phones & tablets to create a desktop expirence), you can also use as a wireless display for windows! I actually prefer HDMI so I can do HD content, music (on the amazing speakers), and have a very quick response time! Wireless it still happens to be very fast! This is not a touchscreen monitor, and I don't want it to be, it would not make much sense! Also this thing goes plenty bright, and has eye saver features. I like that you can download apps and use as a smart tv too. This also doubles as a smartthings hub if you are looking for that as a feature. Really I couldn't ask for anything more from a monitor!! Pros: Bright Large Smartthings hub Has miracast Tons of settings Smart TV too! Great Speakers! Cons: Only one I can think of, and it is that there seems to be a lack of customization features for the monitor UI, just something I noticed and it is a personal preference. This doesn't take away from my 5 stars, it wouldn't discourage me from buying a second one, it also wouldn't discourage me from telling anyone reading this review, DEFINITELY BUY THIS MONITOR TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Works exactly as expected. Can send the UHD output from my PS4 Pro to either my computer monitor or TV with no loss.

Using this to duplicate HDMI out of a computer and into a monitor and TV. No lag, color, or quality issues that I can identify with the naked eye.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the LG 32GP850-B because I capture gameplay footage in HDR and edit that footage. My previous monitor didn’t have HDR so it was tough to see what I was editing until I uploaded it and watched it on a TV. This monitor has HDR so I can actually see what I’m editing correctly. This monitor is 1440p so I can see images nice and clearly and has a 165Hz refresh rate so games look amazing on it. On top of that, you can overclock the monitor to display at 185Hz which makes it even faster. I always plug my computer into a monitor using DisplayPort because it supports the highest frame rate and the monitor’s G-SYNC technology which reduces screen tearing when frame rates are higher. It also supports FreeSync if you have an AMD graphics card. This monitor is a monster in size at 32”. It is practically a small TV, perfect for streaming Netflix and Hulu. The Netflix Windows app even let me watch in HDR! You can also plug a USB cable from the monitor to your computer and use the high-speed USB ports on the monitor. The monitor comes with cables too, so you don’t need to go out and purchase a DisplayPort cable or an HDMI cable to use those features. It can also rotate 90 degrees to give you a smart phone orientation, if you are more comfortable with that for work documents in multiple windows. I am extremely happy with this monitor and would recommend it to all of my friends and family. DISCLAIMER: I received this product at a discounted price in return for my honest review.

Used with a Sony OLED 77 in. It allows the huge screen, which I use as a computer monitor, to float over my desk, in any position. I can turn it and walk behind it to make connections. I attached a few straps to the mount on the back of the TV to move it without touching the TV. The only complaint is that, as the mount is covered in baked enamel, it is slippery and some adjustments, the horizontal level and the tilt angle may not hold steady. I used some blue Loctite to increase friction. Again, very sturdy and very long and very flexible... a gem.

I needed an HDMI cable to connect my new TV/Monitor to my new computer. I didn't need a fancy cable; just a simple, basic one. This Pearstone cable is very similar to store brands I see locally at a third of the price. Why pay more for something when you don't have to?
