We were looking for a larger screen TV and since we have other Vizio Tvs, it was the logical choice. It all came down to Screen size, inputs and price. The one we got met all of that criteria. I upgraded my 15+ year old TV to the new Bravia 3, so keep that in mind while reading this. Same size tv with a larger screen. I am very happy with my decision that I didn't decide to spend more than I did on a higher end TV (sorry Sony). Inky enough blacks. It gets bright enough for my needs. Contrast and color is exceptional. I don't like the soap-opera look, so I have all of those settings turned off. I was concerned with stuttering, with the 60hz screen, but I have not encountered any.
