Twenty Of The 50 Digital Video Recorders

I've been in photography, motion picture and digital video for like 50 years. This lens is great! I was unsure about image quality but bought it anyway based on reviews on line and I was not disappointed. The construction is solid the optics appear to be first class and the only thing I can say bad is I'd like the focus ring to be a little more stiff. I'm sure a bit more grease would cure that.

This came free with my Fuji 50 lens. If I had known how useful it is, I'd have bought one long ago at its bargain price of just twenty-some dollars. Thank again, B&H!

These have worked great even in our older, power-hungry digital audio recorders.

The sweet subtlety of Ilford continues, even after twenty years (the last time I was using Ilford). After a long period (20+ years) not shooting, I took up digital, and then went back to film. The medium format was new to me, and Ilford Delta (100 ISO) and Ilford PanF+ (50 ISO) have been wonderful, as remembered, as expected. Digital b/w, properly balanced and adjusted is stark and naked. Ilford b/w is rich, subtle, creamy, nuanced. Digital and Film are both great, but they are different tools. Film rocks.Rolling is easy, development a breeze (get a thermometer and PAY ATTENTION to the temperature/time ratio) - it really matters!).I scan my negs, adjust in Aperture, and output in archival inkjet. Splendid. ...

I own many digital recorders from Sony, Olympus, and Phillips I use them for field recordings, Sony is by far the best. The TX and UX models are extremely good for what I do although the OLED displays are not visible outdoors in the daytime and hard on the eyes in the dark. A red display would be easy on the eyes in the dark and would not ruin night vision and maybe easier to see in the daylight.

Digital recorders with mixers and multiple channels can eat up battery power very quickly. Brick batteries are a must have to save money and have longer lasting power.
