Two Network Ip Routing Internet To Wireless

We are only a month in but I am really liking this way of doing our home wireless internet! 5 access points through the house are giving us great coverage. The other cool part is that with the software our guy installed we have a home network, a guest network and can build out more for other uses like a security camera system, one just for the kids devices (that we can then control the hours the network is on) and all kinds of other great features and reports. Not normal to do this for a house but I would recommend it... and these... to about anyone at this point!

I want to start off by saying this is not a router so if you want to connect it directly to your modem look elsewhere. I upgraded from the original unifi access point to this one and it was a breeze to setup. Although setting up the controller software can be tricky to install on Linux but fairly straightforward on Mac and Windows. This device greatly increased my network speeds over my wireless network, I went from about 10 MB/sec to around 50 MB/s, but this was over my local network which is all gigabit in my house, internet speeds will vary depending on your internet plan. Before I used to hardwire my computer to transfer large files to my backup storage but now I can do it wirelessly in about the same time. Also another handy feature I found is you can scan the rf spectrum to see what other devices are causing interference and assist accordingly and also detect rogue access points that might be trying to fool devices into connecting to them instead of your network, all handy features if you want to run these in a business. Overall you can't go wrong with this device if you want reliability and a high performance access point and they are one of the cheapest but still perform the same as the high prices one. I would regiment to anyone looking for a great wireless network.

This camera is a great solution for our needs at the end of our driveway where routing power and network cables would be difficult and expensive. It is an all in one camera system that takes great photos, transmits them on a cellular network and has a built in solar panel to keep the battery charged.

Easily and quickly integrate computers into a Dante network without having to reconfigure the Dante network or change routing. Record or playback 2 channels of audio using PC or Mac without installing any additional software. Ability to connect mobile devices to the Dante network (using appropriate adapters, such as Lightening, USB-C, etc.). iOS and Android systems (version 6 or higher) are supported.

The first time I used this I was on a foreign network so I didn't have the IP address to configure it. The device has on-screen controls though so it was an easy setup, just browsed to my NDI source and worked great. I used this with vMix for a remote monitor of the program stream.

This switch makes it easy to add Ethernet ports to your home network, you just need to run an Ethernet cable from your router to the switch, then reboot your system to make sure the IP addresses are assigned and you can still “see” all of your devices. I had a NAS drive that was assigned a new IP address after the install, and rebooting the pc helped fix the access issue. I was able connect another pc as well as another device to my network very quickly, all connected at 1GB/s.

Purchased a pair of these antennas to expand my network from the house to a detached garage. I configured the IP addresses and SSID before mounting them and they connected right away. Installation was easy enough. I used 1.25 inch PVC pipe to run the cable through and clamp the antennas on. Network latency is great and I was able to repurpose an old router as a WAP and switch for my garage. Well worth the cost considering they both had PoE adapters included.

initial setup looks promising — much less frustrating to spin up AV/IP network for media production business using Netgear’s AV line compared to the nightmare I went through fighting with Ubiquiti’s enterprise switches. Sidenote — Netgear’s AV support team is a secret hidden in plain sight as a dedicated premium support channel which we’d otherwise expect to pay for from other vendors. Really impressed in the investment being made by the top @ Netgear — I’ll continue purchasing in the future if so.
