For its price, the Blue Yeti far surpasses other microphones in its category. This microphone is easy to use and ready to go, simply plug the USB into your computer and start recording! You will be amazed by the quality of this microphone and its ease of use. I absolutely recommend this microphone for those who are looking for fast and easy quality audio recording. This mic is best used for podcasts, youtube videos, and can even be used for budget friendly music recording!

I researched a lot of microphones before settling on the Samson Q2U. The main thing I'm using it for is to speak with people over Discord and Zoom (I built my PC and it does not have a built-in mic). I did also try it on a MacBook Pro and it worked easily. I would have loved a Shure SM7B, but the price is too much to justify its purchase for what I'm needing a mic for. Regardless, I am more than satisfied with the sound quality of the Q2U for the price range. Build quality is beyond what I would expect in this price range. Audio quality is no different. Voice playback is warm and has a good range; not tinny at all, which is the main worry I have with less expensive microphones. I was comparing it mostly with the Blue Yeti and a few Audio Technica's that were around $100, but decided to go with the Q2U instead due to the complaints about Blue Yeti online (despite its popularity), the price of the Q2U, and the fact that the Q2U has both USB and XLR jacks. That feature alone sets this mic apart from most of its competition, including the Yeti. I will probably purchase a quality boom arm so the microphone is not sitting on the desk between the keyboard and myself, but for not this kit works just fine.

I love my new Yeti, I just used it for singing vocals on a new song. I read the simple directions to get it working on my Mac. I first was using a bad pair of earbuds when I tested it, and it scared me because the sound was very electronic sounding. But then I switched to better earbuds from the Mac store, and the vocal sound was clear and perfect. The Yeti is really sensitive and picks up details in the voice. I recommend using a pop screen with it, for sure. It has a nice deep full tone and a buttery smooth sound, compared to my built in mic on my computer which has more of a high end sound. I'm really happy I got the Yeti. I almost went with a pre-amp instead, but this Yeti seemed simpler to use.. just plug it in and it's ready to go. I used it with Garageband.

Use the Yeti to record my granddaughter using Garage Band on my Mac Pro. So simple to use just plugged it up to my Mac changed a couple of settings and ready. So far I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

Two weeks in and it is still great as it was from day one. Mac mini works great on this and easy connection every time. Totally recommend this monitor.

Bought this along with the Mac Studio. Two firmware updates but no problems. Great image quality - it seems better than my iMac Pro (which was four years old). Sound quality is also great - better in many respects than the (original) Home Pod. USB ports on the back are also handy. I bought the standard model - would like to have the adjustable stand, but the $400 premium is ridiculous.

Mac Daddy's Mobile Music out of Boise, ID. We use lav microphones for live sound - especially weddings. First the sound quality was excellent. I had to turn down the gain on Sennheiser base station - it was set to +16 db by default and all I got was feedback at first. Once done I could use the microphone to pick up the officiant, the bride and the groom with perfect clarity. The cable is extra long, the clip is sturdy, and the microphone isn't terribly large. And best - it costs a ton less than the Sennheiser lav microphones. It's tough to keep this microphone from feedbacking...you have to set your speakers perfectly. Some folks might not like the pattern or pickup on this microphone.
