With the 2 Tranceivers only, I would need to put a flash on-camera in order to control manual or non-ttl settings from the camera position. So I ordered the TX for that, thereby saving my flash for lighting off-camera. It seemed a no-brainer to me, because I want multiple speed-lights to light my scene and to be able to control all lights from camera position. I can't wait! I used to do a lot of outdoor portraits and was restricted by the length of sync cords, and always having to lower stands to make exposure adjustments and then to try to get the stands back to where the lights had been. The CLS system with Nikon rocks, but everything has to be in line-of-sight; with the 622n's, you can be 300+ ft. away, around corners, in other rooms, and the signals will reach. 'Can't wait till my TX arrives Friday! Merry Christmas to me! 5 |

I have 4 YN560-III's and the 560-TX and with the addition of the gen IV speedlite I can now control my III's with the IV on the camera which really comes in handy when I want the on-camera flash look with a fill or backlight. I am using this equipment with my Sony A99 and A7 cameras without any issue. They are manual flashes so no TTL. I purchased the Canon version and have not had any compatibility issues with my Sony system. If you have an older Sony, like an A77, then you would need a hot-shoe adapter to use these speedlites. 5 |

I purchased two of these, then after seeing how well the two worked, I did a photo session and took some of that money and purchased a third one. It is sturdy, it can either be controlled by a 560-TX or, since it has the components of the TX (transmitting trigger) control other flashes with the number 560, be it it a 560-III or a IV. I purchased a TX for my camera hotshoe since I want the lights to be off-camera. The lights come in a very nice cloth-like bag each, yet firm. I have no complaints, though the review asks for any comments on what isn't so great about it. -- 5 |

Came across this, along with the 560-TX controller while researching off camera flash for my Fuji X-T1. These things work seamlessly! The quality and power is on par with the Canon speedlites I own, if not better, at about 1/3 the cost. So nice I ordered it twice, and will probably get a third as needed. 5 |

I purchased a pair of these to use off-camera with the Yongnuo YN560-TX radio transmitter and they work great! Being able to use the YN560-TX and adjust the YN560-IV speedlights from the camera is a huge plus. I have used both Canon and Nikon TTL systems off-camera and this is a similar experience (albeit manual and not TTL). If your project (or shooting style) calls for manual rather than TTL, this can be a nice addition for you.I love the stroboscopic feature as well (------).I've always had good luck with the Yongnuo products. I also have a pair of Yongnuo YN560-II and use them off camera with a Wein flash trigger. I can use the newer version YN560-IV with the Wein too, giving me a 4 flash set up. 5 |

The new yn560-IV is a great value. I have one Nikon SB-900 with the yongnuo Nikon ttl off camera trigger set ($80), 1 560-III, 3 560-IV, and one 560-TX on camera trigger controller. These all work together great. The new feature about the 560-IV is that it can act as a 560-TX on camera trigger controller. All the yongnuo gear cost less than the SB-900. I find that one ttl off or on camera flash is all I need for run and gun shooting, but in studio the yongnuo set up with the 560-TX controlling all the flashes in manual mode(including the SB-900) is a great combination. 5 |
