Types Of Home Air Conditioners

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. This has everything but the very top of the line features, for a price just barely above the home use types. The cables don't run over UTP, so no connections over any distance greater than 10 feet, but if you've got a single server rack that you want a rack mounted KVM in, I know I'm happy with this one.

Our home is rather old, so it does not have many different types of cabling to use for hardwired network connections, and our internet is quite slow to begin with, so I wanted to retain as much as possible. Thankfully our home has coaxial cable running through most of the house, so this was a very good solution to our problem. These have been running for a few weeks and have worked very well for us.

I had bought the Ptouch for work in an industrial setting and loved the various tape types and the orange tape. I went ahead and bought one for home. I have had them over 4yrs with no problems. I like how easy it is to change tape sizes. Because of the wasted tape I quickly learned to put in many jobs before I cut them.

Not too big but lots of air, love it. Fits well in my crumpler seven m dollar home.

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!

I purchased this microphone to help with some at-home video recordings to be used with my iPhone and MacBook air, and this was the perfect thing for me!
