The mounting system for this is amazing it allows you to move around where it mounts so it helps on different types of desks. It is a lot lighter than what i pictured it would be so there is a lot of plastic on this. I would say this is a great beginner yoke and will suit most needs until you want to spend the big bucks. For what you pay you get a great deal. Just download the yoke software and calibrate and that is about it.

I'm an audio/video contractor and I use many types of full motion mounts. 5 stars! Great extension length and moves very fluidly. Relatively simple to assemble and worked suberbly for a 55 inch TV. Well made. Very Satisfied!

We have a tv in every room and have bought wall mounts from B&H for all of them. This mount was my husband's FAVORITE mount by far..... He said the installation was absolutely and Gabor perfected the simplicity of doing it your self!!

Mounts to the wall box perfectly. We wanted something that did not look heavy and large... this fit the project perfectly.

These wall mounts allowed me to clear up the cluttered look of my studio, yet have the softboxes instantly available ... but take up much less space.

This is the arm only. It needs a base (of which several types are available) in order to attach to a table or wall. The arm itself is well made and has a mechanism for adjusting spring tension. There is not much else to say about it. It does the job and can be moved quietly. I'm using it with a rather light-weight microphone (SM57), but the spring tension can be adjusted for much heavier ones as well. That said, it is somewhat stiff to move (likely by intention), so be sure that you have a sturdy table or other surface to which to attach it. Especially since this is the long-reach version, and it would be potentially easy to tug on it too hard and damage the table.
