Typewriter Style Laptop Computer Keyboard

Like many, my computer is in the bedroom. Late night sessions meant hunting for keys by the light of the monitor and keying slowly to keep the noise down. More time wasted than productive. It became obvious a new keyboard would be needed. This one met all requirements for an acceptable price. It was a pleasant surprise when it arrived. It's solidly built. Despite its thinness it has a surprising weight that prevents it from shifting around under fast typing. Its laptop-style keys require less travel and finger extension, which suits me fine. The illumination is mostly uniform and is controlled with a dedicated key (four levels of intensity). I didn't bother to install the included software because the extra media functions weren't needed and because it's Windows-only. Al-in-all I am perfectly satisfied. Be aware that this keyboard is not for gamers, but for those who might prefer a laptop-style keyboard-- typists.

Noise and feel/touch on this model are like an old typewriter. I haven't done any detail/drawing with the mouse, but for regular use, the mouse seems quite precise, doesn't skip, nice scroll. Always a fan of the extended keyboard, better ergonomics compared with the laptop keypad and no more batteries using the wireless keyboard on my desk top. I didn't buy this for gaming. I bought this so I could easily see the keyboard (letters light up) and the keys feel like that of an electric typewriter (learned to type on a manual typewriter, then switched to an electric). The keyboard has some weight to it so it doesn't slide around the tabletop. Ended up buying one for my husband and he loves it also.

I'm picky when it comes to keyboards and this is exactly what I wanted for style, touch and flexibility of a keyboard to fit with my new computer set up.

We got this because my wife wanted a keyboard that felt like her Surface Laptop 3 keyboard, which is a great keyboard for a chicklet-style ultrabook keyboard. And we got it despite its price ($99!) and complaints about it disconnecting often (it's Bluetooth 4). But my wife has noticed no disconnection problems; the device feels like it may actually be worth $99 (not quite, but close) and the keyboard is almost as good as the one on the Surface Laptop 3. Not bad! Even I like using it (though I prefer keyboards with longer key travel and higher activation force).

I like this keyboard very much. The keys look like laptop keys but they have a nice feel. Style of the keyboard matches my Mac. The keyboard was packed diagonally in a box and arrived with the ends slightly bent. Not bad enough to return, but I wish B & H had packed it more carefully.

Turned my iPad into a small laptop computer and protects the iPad at the same time. Keyboard lights up to make seeing keys at night a breeze. It also attaches magnetically which makes it easy to remove for reading in portrait mode. Trackpad is very smooth to the touch, very close to my MacBook Pro. It gives you the best of both worlds, a laptop or tablet. Best thing I ever bought for my iPad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a mouse with various computer for decades and was joyful when the wireless mouse came into general use a decade ago. Although using a major brand mouse and keyboard with the laptop and TV screen for the past 6 years I was very happy to experience the Lenovo mouse. Someone in the world of device design has woken up and made a larger mouse that has a much better ergonomic feel. Sure we could ll hole the old style mouse, but this one holds you! It also has a perceived improvement in performance when the laptop is tuned to the proper settings. My use is nearly always on the arm of a recliner and its performance has been spotless. It has also fallen a couple of times and the unit is still in one piece and operating perfectly. I also like the full size keyboard which has a good feel and seems sturdy. The quality of an item is remembered long after the price is forgotten.

this is by far the best tablet i have ever owned with all the functionality of the s pen the bigger screen and ability to use a keyboard its much better than any laptop or computer i own for what i need it for!! will be a samsung owner for life!

I ordered this MIDI Connect Cable to connect my keyboard to my laptop computer in anticipation of getting a MIDI capable sequencer. The cable is made better then I thought it would be and it is as long as advertised, which is great. The Interface has LEDs to indicate it's on and when it receives a MIDI event, which is helpful when hooking stuff up. IOt was a good buy from an already trusted place - B&H !
