I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

Nicely made and I like the flip top cover that actually covers the sides of the opening unlike some other cases out there. Also the velcro openable belt loop is a great feature so you don't have to fiddle with your belt to get this off/on.

I was frustrated that Zeiss makes a dedicated case for Otus and another for Loxia, but none for the Batis series. All five fit perfectly in this case by removing various perforated layers in each opening (the Batis 135 needs both layers removed). I also fits some of the larger Voigtlander for Sony lenses like the 64mm and 21mm F1.4. The foam is the hard type not the real spongy type so dust and foam fragments are not as much of an issue. I also like that the latches have a push-button then flip release instead of just a flip release. This prevents accidental opening. This is a very nice case and a ton cheaper than the Zeiss cases!

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

I use this interface to send our church service audio over a conference line via cellular phone. Transmission is crystal clear!! Conference callers have been impressed by the clarity of the audio. Recommended product. 100% Satisfied. Would purchase again.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.
