The Gen 2 cloud key is much more stable than their first generation. If needing to manage 1 Ubiquiti WAP or 100, the cloud key allows a single point of configuration and makes upgrading WAPs very simple as well. Highly recommend. The Plus version also supports video cameras which is cool. 5 |

I have used all of Ubiquiti's cloud key options. The desktop controller is nice, but it is reliant on the computer always being on. The cloud keys make that null as they don't rely on a computer. So they are pretty much always on. They work great and the cloud key gen2 plus worls great. 5 |

I bought this to replace my gen 1 Cloud Key. It has a few key features that the gen 1 does not. The most important being that if it senses that power is out it will shut itself down. The GEN one cloud key has an issue that if it lost power it could corrupt the site info stored on it. The gen 2 also has mush better specs and internal storage so no need for the micro ad card. 5 |

I replaced my gen 1 cloud key with the gen 2 plus...this thing is awesome...with the NVR built in made this decision a no brainer...I might upgrade it to the 5tb hard drive in the near future...about a ago I started using ubiquiti product...I installed these products in our church...easy installation, easy adoption of switches and,access points....they work flawlessly..I also installed them in my home and my job....usg pro, 24 port poe switch and 7 access points...just awesome...back to the cloud key...the gen 2 plus is to nice to be hidden in a server room or closet. 5 |
