Ubiquiti Wireless Router For Home

I bought this router and paired it to my 2 ubiquiti wireless ap's. Router works great! Highly recommend. Read all the great reviews about it. They aren't lying.

Excellent router that covers my whole home and all my wireless products.

Upgraded from a standard home router + cheap APs around the house to a Ubiquiti system and it works great. Using the included passive PoE injector through an EdgeRouter X, although I wish they had included a proper 802.3af injector, which is much safer.

I changed over my home network from a Linksys wrt3200 ACM router and have everything running thru my Ubiquiti network. I truly enjoy all the statistical data that's provided to monitor your network. I feel everything was easy to setup and configure. I have also experience a speed upgrade on my network.

After having really bad signal in my home i decided to install this Ubiquiti UAP-AC-LITE. I had already installed these before for clients and always received great feedback. I was expecting a big difference from my previous router and i am so happy i bought this instead of replacing my main router. I would recommend this product to any home or office looking to upgrade.

I plugged in one of the router outputs from my AT&T wireless gateway and distributed it to wall jacks and 2 Ubiquiti UniFi AC Pro access points (also bought from B&H) via PoE and everything just worked. Not sure why I waited so long to do this.

I will preface these comments by saying I had a family member who is an IT professional configure and setup our home network. I would not have been able to do it myself. With that being said, I am very impressed with the Ubiquiti technology, the Nano HD was used to extend the wireless coverage in my home and home office. While I prefer a wired connection, there are many times where I am using the cell phone, iPad or a laptop on the wireless network.  I could see the improvement in the wireless network by using the NanoHD to boost the quality of the wireless signal. As a background on the environment, I also have two NAS servers (54 and 80 TB) that I use for editing video projects, and use the 100 mb ethernet port on my iMac Pro computer to access both servers. We have converted the router and switch to Ubiquiti products, works very well and I can leverage my IT specialist for remote management.

I use this product to support a home video security system. I have 5 wireless G videocameras streaming live video from throughout my home. This is a budget setup and this router fit the bill perfectly. The router is constantly running at near wireless capacity as far as throughput. I use it on WPA2 b/g/n without issues. I gave it 5 stars because considering the cost and the benefits, I believe it is 5 stars. If this cost more, it would be 3 stars.

I bought this router to accommodate a web/minecraft/media server, constant online gaming, excessive video streaming, and three wireless access points (my house has metal lathe, which acts like a faraday cage). Was previously using some Netgear garbage home user Wi-Fi router that couldn't keep up with the demand and was awful to manage. This router is a breeze to manage if you have at least basic networking knowledge. The 10 ports allow me to wire my server, computer, access points, and other peripheral gear to keep the wireless networks from getting congested. The quality of my home network improved dramatically and allowed me to actually utilize every drop of the gigabit ethernet we pay for. I also appreciate Ubiquiti's detailed firmware upgrade logs. I would absolutely recommend this router to anyone looking to have fast, easily configurable internet at home, and I'm sure it would hold up well for a small business too.
