Ubuntu Usb C Headphone

Mic, Pre-Amp, and Headphone Amp in an all-in-one package! Nice to be able to use a USB mic without the need for a separate pre-amp. Really like the headphone jack incorporated into the unit with separate gain controls for the headphone volume.

A very functional USB-C headphone adapter. Works well. My 6th or so adapter.

It works well, and no problems for Ubuntu Linux to recognize. :)

I'm very satisfied with the APC RBC#33 battery pack purchased from B&H. It works good with MS C++ 2015 under windows 10, with Video For Windows (vfw32.lib)

I bought this January 2024 and today got around to configuring it to my liking. It works great with my Ubuntu Linux server. Ubuntu Noble Numbat. Got this so that a power burp won't cause my server to crash. Unlike the cheaper USB mics, this has a large diaphragm and a headphone output. You can dial in several specific settings for different applications and connect it to an iphone or computer.

This thing is microscopic. I bought another USB-C dongle with separate mic and headphone jacks. It is bulkier and definitely has limited frequency response though the headphone jack. This, on the other hand, is as small as it could possibly be, and produces flawless audio with no hiss. That's impressive, given that this obviously isn't an exotic digital-to-analog chip set, and the device is so inexpensive.
